Bullwinkle: Hey Rocky! Watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat. Rocky: Again? Bullwinkle: Nothing up my sleeve....PRESTO! (Bullwinkle pulls a rinocerous out of his hat.) Bullwinkle: Oooh! I don't know my own strength. Rocky: Now here something we hope you'll really love.
Oh Phooey, what a trip down memory lane (uh, I guess that would be Sherman and Mr. Peabody with the wayback machine)! I'd like to have a wayback machine now!
I remember seeing Rocket J Squirrel on Lucianne now that you mention it.
I have all the Rocky and Bullwinkle season sets on DVD. Mr. Jack and I watch them all the time, he just loves them. I have Woody Woodpecker as well, Jack's version of Woody's laugh is hilarious. Mrs. Cow
Oh Mrs. Cow, I bet it is! It's so great that you've introduced his generation to the oldies. In my opinion, they're the best. I agree with Polliwog that today's cartoons are awful in comparison.
Man, I loooooved Rocky & Bullwinkle. Classic cartoons.
ReplyDeleteEva, there is a 'Rocket J. Squirrel' on Lucianne.

I love those old shows. I don't enjoy the new cartoons at all.
ReplyDeleteAnd my cartoon comment: The Great O is pulling the correct "rabbit" out of the hat. Does anyone have ketchup for the cleanup?
Palin brand ketchup should work best.
ReplyDeleteLove to all.
