I'm happy today. I stayed up late last night to read breaking news about Gilad Shalit's release. I just wanted to make sure he was okay. It's been 26 years or so since Israel has gotten back a citizen who was still alive, so until it was confirmed, I wasn't going to believe it. He's so thin, but he's okay. After 5 years, I'm sure he has a long way to go to recover.
I'm happy he's home, and I can only pray that the exhange of Palestinians doesn't result in more "Gilad Shalits".
By-the-way, can you think of any other people who celebrate the return of murderers/terrorists?
That's an adorable picture ~ I just got back online - phone line (AT&T) shorted out and fried my modem Friday afternoon. Figured out how to install modem but router was messed up and took over an hour with a girl in China - sweet girl, smart, impossible accent & very hard to understand. Tired.
Who is having a birthday?
ReplyDeleteYes, whose bday is it?
