Just rest today, Sweetie. Move around, but slowly. Try not to stay in one position for too long (except when sleeping). The boys and I are sending out healing vibrations in your direction!
Thank you so much, friends--I am doing both. I just got up from my nap and am not staying in one position too long. I feel pretty good. And Eva--you're supposed to THINK healing vibrations and SEND the boys in my direction! hahahahaha
I can hear it in your voice, too, that you're feeling better. That right there put a smile on my face and a song in my heart!
I have a song in my heart, too! I was in my boss' office today when she got up and closed the door. She told me that I'm doing a fabulous job and that her boss (who owns the company) knows it. She said I'll be getting a raise on July 1st that will make me pleased and that I'll be getting a very nice Christmas bonus and an even nicer profit sharing check next time they are issued. Then she said "All I can do today is give you this." $25 gift card to see a movie and $25 gift card for Applebee's restaurant.
I thought I wanted to work for a big oil & gas company or law firm when I moved to OKC. When I heard about this job at this family-owned small business, I thought it would be a waste of my time to interview there. I am a woman of faith, and asked God every day to bring me to the right employer and bring the right employer to me. HE DID! I LOVE MY JOB! I'm SO glad I work for a fast, rapidly growing, family owned business.
Am leaving now to have my usual Friday night dinner with friends from childhood, but I have a story to tell you about a fun project I created at work. It got the owner's attention ... and I'm having a BLAST doing it!
I love my life today. And I always love my Ponders!
Congratulations, Surfie!! What great news! Isn't it wonderful to be recognized and appreciated? Obviously, the best thing you did was to move back to OKC. You sound SO happy and content. I get a lift just hearing about your new life there.
