Oh my, Froggy didn't tell you...this is a boy kitty. But he is pretty, isn't he?
I was looking at the website for the Seattle Animal Shelter. They have a list of adoptable cat pictures. Froggy just looked over at my computer when this sweet little guy's pic went by. She immediately said to go get him and bring him home.
I snatched the two pics off the website as soon as I got home. Glad I did because it wasn't long before his name and pic were removed. "Fluffy" had been adopted by Froggy. He may get a different name, but today Froggy called him Fluffy.
Thanks to everyone for welcoming our little guy to the Pond.
I want to see MORE pictures and hear more details. C'mon, Froggy, you have to tell us every little thing now. How old is he? Where does he sleep? Do you think you'll rename him? Fluffy does sound a little feminine. I'm SO excited! Haven't told Puffin, yet. He's gonna be annoyed that another boy cat is in your heart, but he'll just have to get over it (lol).
Now that I look at him again, he definitely looks like a male. I mean, look at those handsome long white whiskers! :) He is such a pretty boy! :)
Wog and Froggy; you not only gained a cuddly companion, you also saved a life. I know our local animal control only keeps cats for a certain length of time. It sure was a win-win situation for all concerned! :)
Froggy and I are here. Froggy has been looking for the perfect name for her new baby. So far we are all getting along very well. When I pick him up, he purrs. That is a good sign. I had to buy him toys and stuff, and a slicker-comb for his long hair. So far he likes the catnip toys best.
Here's my excuse: I had a box full of stuff on my computer chair, and I got tired of moving it just to sit down. I'll be on for a couple minutes from school tomorrow. Night All..
The most important thing is that the two of you acclimate Fluffy (or whatever you decide to name him) to his new home, so we understand that you can't be online with us. Just enjoy the bonding and, Froggy, enjoy having your new furball companion by your side. I know you feel the difference already. Have fun! We'll be waiting to hear all about it.
She's gorgeous!!!!!!! Give us details.
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for you! She's beautiful! Tell us her story. :)

ReplyDeleteI am so happy for you both or should I say all three of you.
I keep coming back to look at her. Fluffy is very pretty. Froggy, I wish I could have been there to see your face. Wog, where did you find her?

Like Eva, I can't wait to hear all about him!
Have a nice weekend, everyone! :)
Welcome back Paget! You were missed. I want kitty-cat stories!
ReplyDeleteHi Phooey!
ReplyDeleteI hope the reason we haven't heard from Wog and Froggy is because they're busy hanging out with Fluffy. :)
Thinking of you, Froggy! We sure miss your posts. :)
Prayers that everything is okay over there!
Goodnight sweet lily lovers. Going to bed early.

ReplyDeleteGood morning Frogs and Cats. Does Fluffy purr louder than 'Wog snores?
ReplyDeleteEnquiring' minds want to know! Input! I need input!
