Don't tell me that everyone is sleeping in... while I had to get up at 5:30 in the morning to go to school.
How was the fireworks out your way? Seattle had the best I've seen in many years. Absolutely beautiful. We watched on TV, but we could hear it out our window...sounded like thunder.
I fed the Pond Fish. Teacher is giving lecture...gotta sign off.
Howdy, all. Is everyone back to a regular schedule? Beautiful weather today. Picked some raspberries and did some house work.
Poor Peanut. She is not a fan of fireworks. Around here they don't get going till 10:00. The show that is put on at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds is pretty big. The farther north you go the later the sun sets. Seems like I remember it being dark in Cali by 9:00. Froggy, it's to bad that you can't actually see the fireworks from your place.
I's hard to see the fireworks. We live in a kind of cul-de-sac of tall buildings. Sometimes a few fireworks will get up high enough to see. But we had a great show on the TV, and we could hear them like they just outside the window.
Poor Peanut! We do understand. The poor "babies" get in a panic with no place to hide. From the hallway, we could hear a couple dogs barking in another apartment.
Well, I sure didn't sleep in! Was at work a little after 7:00. Got back home at 6:30. I'm tired and so glad tomorrow is TGIF.
Happy that my boss wasn't in today. I almost got caught up because she wasn't there to toss more new things my way.
Please say another prayer for my boss, Janice. Her mother has been in a short-term care facility, has alzheimers. They can't help her and she will be dismissed. Janice has been trying to find a long-term assisted living facility, but the good ones have waiting lists. Janice's brother has breast cancer and can't help with their mother. Plus, Janice's MIL passed suddenly (I think it was 2 weeks ago). And Janice has been taking medication for pneumonia. She's still working on both her job and her family. Please pray for Janice.
Oh My, Surfie.. Some days there are just too many problems to deal with. Alzheimers would be difficult to deal with at home. Hope Janice can find a place for her mom. I keep reading your post over, and there is so much. Janice is probably getting sick from all the family stress. She is lucky to have you to help in the office.
Surfie, I think that God puts you in touch with people that need prayer. When I think back over the last 2 years there were several situations that the rest of us joined in with prayer. You get the spiritual ball rolling. I believe that there is power when people agree.
I remember little Levi, Macy and Dena, Tim and Janice. There were more.
Geez Surfie, Prayers and love your way..... and also Froggy. My 'magicJack' phone line crapped out on me. Will try another and test on Froggy! Okay Froggy? Uhhh? Woggy? Tomorrow maybe? Hmmmmm?
Phooey, I'll let Froggy know that you dropped by. Froggy is resting, so the Great 'WOG is hopping around the Pond waiting for Pond Friends. Everyone sounds tired this week. Tomorrow is Friday, and we can all enjoy the summer.. even in Seattle, finally.
I have a Verizon cell phone. Been thinking of getting a cheaper phone. I don't really use it that much so I don't need texting, Internet, etc. But it's good to have if you need to order pizza while on the bus.
Hi all. I can't believe I'm just chiming in. My eyes are too blurry and tired to see what I'm typing so I won't stay on.
We heard fireworks last night for hours, but didn't see any. I think the cats weren't upset because it was such a constant rumble and crackle. If there had been more silence in between, I'm sure they would have gotten upset. The dogs in the complex sure weren't happy.
Prayers for your boss, Surfie and as always, for all my dear Ponders :)
Wish I could tell youuu theee storry hear buttt..... I'm tooon Sleepy !Good night Sweep pees! Really, the conputer does this to me!!!! I'm not kidding!
