Hi, folks! Thank you so much for keeping the Pond going--and for your prayers and best wishes. My hands still don't work right, so typing is difficult; please don't think I'm not here. Tomorrow, I go back to Wound Care for a new dressing of the 4" ulcer on my left heel, and Friday we go to some social work guy and my doctor. Please pray that some of this does some good; I really appreciate your concern.
Who's still hot? Our weather has cooled off again; sometimes even to the point of being a bit too cool in the mornings, but turning on the heat is out of the question. We haven't haven't had any rain in a long time it seems.
Went to my primary doc today. A simple visit only a few pharmacy issues. Page and I had lunch together then Walmart. Now the excitement! It's NCIS night! May need a nap tomorrow after this whirlwind day! Wolfie! Behave!
Froggy, it's always great to hear from you. Hang in there. We're all still praying for you. Pretend like we're with you when Wog goes with you in the real world tomorrow. We're with you in the spiritual world!
Still hot here, but not as bad. Still around 90. We got some good rain Friday night and predict we'll get some Thursday night. The big heat dome of summer has definitely broken.

A great thing happened at work. We hired an engineer, young and very handsome young man. His wife is equally young and beautiful. They had their 1st baby! Even more wonderful as she suffered a 2nd-trimester miscarriage. She was pregnant a couple of months later and they have a bouncing baby boy! Happy Birthday to little Fletcher!

"Federal Way man arrested for allegedly threatening Obama"
FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -- A Federal Way man has been arrested for allegedly making threats against President Obama, federal officials said Tuesday.
The man, 31-year-old Anton Caluori, sent a threatening email to a general FBI mailbox, said Emily Langlie with the U.S. Attorney's Office. Secret Service agents immediately went to Caluori's apartment at the Panther Ridge Apartments Complex, found he was armed and took him into custody, Langlie said.

As Republicans converge on Florida next week to formally nominate Mitt Romney, Vice President Joe Biden plans to be in town.
Biden will be in Florida Monday and Tuesday, including a visit to the Tampa area, site of the 2012 Republican National Convention, the Obama campaign said today.
“Any of you going to be in Florida?” Biden joked to reporters today on a campaign stop in Minneapolis. “Well, I’m the speaker at the convention. I’m gonna be down there.”
His presence in the state – the largest electoral battleground – is part of a coordinated effort by Democrats and President Obama’s re-election campaign to bracket the Republican festivities and steal some of the spotlight.
