~Special Celebration for our Special Family~

  1. Howdy Ponders...Washington State, Alaska and Hawaii have their Dem caucuses today (Saturday). There is no way that Bernie Sanders can get enough delegates. Not sure when GOP gets their chance for a piece of the pie.

There are a couple kids downstairs in building "living room" dyeing Easter eggs. That's what Sis and I call "Best Fun."

  2. I heard that Hillary didn't spend any money on ads up this way. And that she only spent about $30,000+ in Hawaii. Don't know why she would bother spending on Hawaii when all the delegates are in WA state.

  4. Hey Hey Phooey...Froggy did give us a scare, didn't she. She's home now, and lay down for a nap. I'll let her know that you hopped in with loving words.

Tonight we are watching the movie "Ten Commandments." Kind of a family tradition. Movie is five-hours long.

  5. My post just disappeared. Here we go again. Froggy, how are you today. Hope you are better, and please don't scare us again! Love you!

Happy Easter! I know some here are not Christian, but highly recommend watching the Mormon Tabernacle Choir singing "Hallelujah" It so beautiful and uplifting.

Shopping for clothes is one of my least favorite things to do, but I had to get new jeans this weekend. I graduated high school in 1972, and much to my delight found that bell bottom jeans are back in fashion. Can't wait to see the looks on my Millenial nieces and nephews faces when I show up at Easter lunch today more fashion-forward than they are! I love shocking the 20'somethings & early 30'somethings in my world like that.

This is weird weather season in Oklahoma. Last week, it was warm with winds at least 30mph every day. Today, it is raining and bitter cold. Next week we will be back in the 80's, and a few days later in the 50's. Tornado season is on it's way!

The family is gathering at my sister's house today for lunch. All I have to bring is a fruit salad. I get to play with my 9 month old great niece, and my sister's 12 week old German Shepherd puppy. Should be a lot of fun.

That is all wonderful, but I really miss my son. He and I talk with each other all the time, but it isn't the same as actually being able to kiss his cheek, cook together, hang out together. He and his GF were planning coming to OKC for July 4th week. He is going back for his 3rd interview on 4/1 for job as Manhattan Account Manager for Yelp. If he gets the job (huge pay raise), he can't come. So, I will go to NYC. I've scheduled the week off work. Either he comes here, or I will go there. Works for me either way!

Better get my fruit salad put together. Happy Easter!

    1. Surfie...Always wonderful to hear from you. You have so much news in your life. I saw on the TV that Oklahoma had some "interesting" weather lately. Your son is a marvel. Achieving success is not always easy. We miss the family gathering. Don't have any family up this way.

Froggy and I watched "The Ten Commandments" last night. They had so many commercials that it lasted 5 hours. Could hardly stay awake. But there are some scenes you have to watch every year.

We are trying to close Froggy's AOL account. She doesn't really use it. I copied all her emails so that they don't get lost. I saw many names that I haven't heard for a while.

Surfie, how's the business going? You haven't mentioned.
