This was too priceless to pass up. Don't people realize that a vote for the Hill will also put Bill back in the White House. What a sweet time he could have. He can do as he pleased...which apparently he always has.
Apologies about the delay in new Pond pic. My computer is screwy and sometimes (most times) won't post without being a pain in the keister.
Surfie, the view of your garden and yard has inspired me to plant flowers this year in our building's garden. We have a couple other people who plant vegetables. It's been cold around Seattle, but this weekend will be warm. Will take bus to Home Depot and pick up bag of compost and some snapdragons. Froggy likes snapdragons, and I grow them for her. Gotta keep Froggy happy.
Froggy thought this was fascinating, so I said that I would share it with our Pond Friends. This article includes a short video so you can see how amazing it is.
Robotic seal helps treat people with Alzheimer’s, dementia KSNT Staff Reports / Published: April 16, 2016
TOPEKA (KSNT) – Therapy doesn’t always come from a psychiatrist, or a prescribed medication, it can look like a furry seal.
Legend at Capital Ridge is taking up the latest technology to help treat its residents with “Evie,” an advanced robotic seal equipped with thousands of sensors, video cameras in her eyes, and 32 gigabytes of memory, all wrapped up in furry, cuddly bliss.
I watched the video about the robotic seal. Awesome. Live animals are great therapy, but you have to walk them and feed them and otherwise care for them. There are so many days I'd like to come home and have a robotic furry friend.
Frog, how are you doing? I hope I can visit The Pond one day and read a post from you. All you. I miss your voice. Surfie Smooches!
HUGE clap of thunder woke me up around 5am. Thunderstorms without tornadoes are a wonderful thing to watch and listen to on a Sunday. It is raining buckets! I'm putting a leg of lamb in the oven and puttering around. My house is going to smell fantastic in about an hour. Today, I am a happy woman.
I wish Frog, Wog and all Ponders a blessed day. Love you!
Surfie, We can smell that leg of lamb all the way to Seattle. You are such a good cook. Glad you enjoyed the story about robotic animals. I thought it was a fascinating idea.
I went with Froggy to Swedish "wound care" this afternoon. It's a wonderful place that only deals with wounds. She had a sore on the back of her heel. I changed the bandage every evening when I got home. Nurse said that it wasn't infected. She cleaned it and bandaged her foot all the way to the knee. We are relieved that a professional said that it will heel.
Did I mention that it is hot in Seattle? Gloria and Paget are probably hot too. Will be hot tomorrow (Tuesday) too. I guess this is what we have been waiting for.
Anyone heard from EC? Ponders like to know that everyone is okay.
Wog, I've seen EC on the Connection a few times. Hope her eyes are OK. Not watching the NY returns tonight.... Don't care. Will watch NCIS as usual. Loved the seal video. Always great to read 'Weekend at Surfie's'. Hope she had mint jelly ! Really really miss Paget !!!
WOW...Our Phooey is here! A day without Phooey is like a day without flowers. We love ya Phooey. You made our day! Hi to Miss Page.
Froggy is laying down. The hot heat got her. We're not used to being hot up here. Though the sunshine is marvelous. Who used to say that? "It's marvelous."
Probably a good choice to watch NCIS. It's rated one of the best shows on TV. The politics will just do whatever politics does.
Back in the day when Bill C was first running for president the lib women in my husband's office were just ga ga over him. Creepy and weird. They called themselves "friends of Bill." Recently a friend of mine was telling about attending a wedding in a nice hotel. There were signs in the lobby pointing this way to the wedding and this way to "Friends of Bill." Her husband said that is code for an AA meeting.
Gloria, you're right. Friends of Bill is an AA meeting. I had forgotten that. It's Bill W. I think.
I was at Grand Jury duty today downtown Seattle. Went downstairs to eat lunch in front of TV. News came on that Prince had died. Just couldn't believe that. Love his music.
Froggy posted a message, but it posted as Anonymous. Just to let everyone know.

Love, love LOVE this sign! Wish more people in NY felt the same way. No surprises last night, though.
ReplyDeleteHi Eva, isn't this sign priceless! Says everything that we are thinking. All we need is both Hill and Bill back in the Whitehouse ...again.
