Pretty, pretty butterfly. How's Wolfie doing, Froggy? Is he being a good little buddy to you?
Just heard from my dad who told me that the surgeon who did his hernia surgery said the "mystery mass" was indeed left over from that surgery and is nothing to worry about. Yay! One thing scratched off the list.
Great to see you put up a new post, Froggy. Hope you feel enough to talk with us soon. We really do worry ... and pray. Smooch!
Eva, great news about your Dad. You must be relieved.
I'm in serious attack mode against my allergies. I've switched from Claritin to Children's Benadryl for Allergies, changed from homeopathic nasal solution to full-on saline solution (again, for children). Thought I'd start with a child's dose to see how I react. Got some visine for allergies. I'm tired of waking up with swollen eyes that are beet red, not being able to breathe, not being able to think straight, totally worn out by 2:00 pm, constant sneezing and drippy nose. Just started a little under 2 hours ago. Think it is working because I already feel a little better.
I sound like a whiner, given the serious health issues my fellow Ponders like Froggy and Phooey live with.
The magic bullet I'm cooking right now was given to me by my SIL's mother who was born & raised in Beijing: Soup of chicken broth, tons of green onions, fresh ginger, fresh garlic. You let everything steep so the juices of everything get into the broth. You first breathe in the steam coming off the soup, but then drink it down then get in a hot bath and sweat like crazy.
Cross your fingers for me! Good news is that the triple digit heat dome is breaking down. We're only supposed to get to 95 tomorrow!
Surfie, I really sympathize with you. The area where I live is one of the most allergic areas in the country. (according to local allergy doctors.) Have you ever been tested for allergies? I've been lucky; most of my worst allergy years are behind me, and I seem to do better these days. However, family and friends are often suffering from allergies. I think I'll pass your magic bullet recipe to my son. He is allergic to almost everything that grows!
Wog, glad you aced your spelling test. I think you enjoy school. Is that right? It's great to keep on learning new things. That's what keeps us young, and it is a repellent to the sneaky Alzheimer disease.
Froggy, we miss you. :( Hope you are feeling better soon, and will be here to tell us what's happening with you, and the world around you. :) I hope Wolfie is a good companion, and keeps you entertained while you're recuperating. :)
Hi Froggy, Very nice picture for today.
ReplyDeleteI just took a spelling test at school. Piece of cake! I'm a very good speller.
How are you feeling today? I worry when I don't hear from you.
So do the rest of us, Woggy.

Great news, Eva! :) So glad your dad is okay! He sounds like he has lots of spunk. I bet he's happy that you're coming to visit soon. :)
