What words can I say to bring solace to your torn heart... Oh friend, lean hard nor walk alone apart... I touch your hand... I understand.
I just read what happened down below on your thread. Words just totally fail me... I'd noticed that you were back and I was so happy for you.
Remember when Jesus was talking about the rich and famous... and He said that they have their reward? Well, since they seem to "have everything" their reward is here on this sin-sick earth. And that is ALL they will have. Those of us who daily give ourselves to Jesus and constantly endure satan's attacks will have OUR reward thru-out all eternity.
Keep yourself surrendered to HIM and He will make it right!! I'm looking forward to seeing you in heaven :)
I've read alot of your posts, and see that you wish people Happy Sabbath... I'm a Sabbath-keeper also... a Seventh-day Adventist. Can't wait till Friday to wish you a Happy Sabbath!!!
Roxe, I will not abandon my dear friend Froggy. And, "Words just totally fail me" are so poignant. Froggy, has few options. She wants to be as engaged and share as much of herself as possible while there is a chance. DAMNIT!!! She is dying!!! She needs a kidney transplant. I WANT TO SCREAM!!!
I'm in southern Idaho, and don't drive, so I can't get over there to help. However, my church has several congregations in that area. I don't know her address or real name... and am not sure if she would feel comfortable having them come to see how they could help her. My church also has the Loma Linda Medical Center in So. California, and they do operations like this for free at times.
Like I say, I don't know how she would feel about members of my church coming to see her and see if there is some way she could be helped by Loma Linda. I've been praying about this ever since reading that thread and posting earlier.
Are you willing to talk to her about this, and see what she would like to do about this info?
I won't contact the area churches until she gives the OK to do so... the Sabbath School class I attend at my local church here is taught by a retired surgeon who used to practice in Seattle (I believe it was Seattle) and I can call him to get his ideas on this also.
But I will wait till I have her permission to go forward with this...
Let me know what she wants to do. I don't know if she still has my emails I sent her a month ago or not... I was looking earlier for the ones she replied to me and they are missing. :(
I went clear back to the beginning of this blog and found Froggy's email addy... just sent her an email so she can share my email addy with you... it might be best if we discuss this thru email. What do you think?
And Froggy, IF you wish to delete these two postings, that will be OK with me.
I can't have a kidney transplant--we don't have a dime, my medical HMO was just canceled--and I have diabetes and congestive heart failure... I think these things make too much of a difference, don't they?
You're awfully sweet to think of me though. You're such thoughtful people!
YAY ROXE'S BACK--AND WHAT A NICE CAT! I have the nicest cat line up!
What words can I say to bring solace to your torn heart...

ReplyDeletePhooey, you capture my sentiments exactly! The screaming part, I mean. But you need to take care of yourself, too. Don't forget.
ReplyDeleteRoxe, you're a doll! You get it. We'll do our best to lift Froggy's spirits as she fights the good fight.
By the way, the above picture is adorable.
Phooey and Eva,
