Big weather changes here. At 3:00 this afternoon, it was 104. Out of the blue a huge thunder storm broke out. It POURED for about 30 minutes. Now the sun is out and the temp has dropped a good 20 degrees. I like it! Plus ... TGIF!!!

Surfie, loved your comment on the standing kitties too. We can always use some humor to spruce up the day. Did you cool down yet? Froggy is melting. She made a fan out of cardboard, and is whipping it back and forth in front of her face to keep cool. I put a box fan in window, but right now all we are getting is hot air.
Our A/C conked out yesterday. The repairman showed up at 6pm today. 15 minutes later and $300 poorer, I'm cool once again. He could have said the broken part cost more and I'd have gladly paid it. Dang, but it's miserable being hot & sticky! The furballs were stretched out in front of the fans but now they're up and dancing the happy dance. Well, not really, but that picture is so cute that I had to work it into my paragraph somehow.
Froggy, you should have stuck your tongue out at the doc and made funny faces. Maybe he would have shown more interest. Terrible bedside manner.
Surfie, Beverly Hills has had 2 earthquakes in the last 4 days, Monday night and last night (actually, early Tuesday morning and early Friday morning). Both around 3.4. Wonder what that means.

Um, my doctor appt. did not go well. The man was rude and won't help me. I don't know what to do. I'm just about at the end.

It's good that your AC got fixed quickly. We put fan on our furball too. Do yours go belly-up, four feet in the air ..when they get hot?
