May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.
Oh Phoobers, I love that verse--thank so much, my dear friend! I just got back from wound care and a whole half inch of new skin has grown in just a week, no infection--and the doc says it looks wonderful, so I am a happy frog. The brace on my right hand is sloooowly healing the pinched nerve, too, so I can use it more and it doesn't frighten me so much--nothing wrong here! SmOOches!
Hi dear Gloria--I was worried about that shooting you had up there yesterday. Was it near you?
Gloria--It was in Arlington. Some old guy was on a tractor in his field and went in the house and put camo gear on and went out and started firing at his neighbors and all the passing traffic. I think one guy got hit in the leg. SWAT came in and either took him out or he shot himself in the end. Nobody knows why he did it.
'WOG--I have 3 prescriptions at Walgreens; you can get the hosiery for my foot there or at the Bartell's up the street from it. And 2 of our elevators are broken--use the one on the far RIGHT only unless they say different. Avoid far left and middle ones.
It's actually raining a bit today. Well, not real rain, but a minute here and there of big drops. I'll take it.
I'm doing my best to avoid the Dem convention, but living in L.A. makes it difficult. I hear people talk in the supermarket and where I go to work out. Even when I listen to Rush or Sean, there are news spots at the top and bottom of the hour that mention it. I can't handle the lies.
It's hard to hear other people talk about how wonderful the Dem convention is, and how wonderful Pres O is, and what a wonderful speech the Missus gave. Everything is "wonderful."
Great news, Froggy! You must be so happy, and we are happy with you. YAY!
Phooey, that is also one of my favorite scriptures. Thank you!
Please dear friends pray for my friend Karen. She gets her brain prognosis tomorrow afternoon. We do know that the tumor is affecting many brain centers and has pushed her brain forward, which is making her frontal lobe swell. She is a woman of faith and has always been the calm one during a crisis. Still, she is nervous. Pray, Ponders!
May the Lord bless you and keep you.

ReplyDeleteTwo elevators down! That should be so much fun when everyone comes home from work today. I'll bring a sandwich to eat while I wait for my turn!
