Hi Ponders. That is a good name for us as there is so much going on in the world that I have much to ponder. I think about my friends, family, the country, the economy , and the election.
Eva, I was reading about your friend and my heart aches for him. God bless the friend that has a job for him. There are many folks out there that are in situations like his. It's like just one more event will send them over the cliff. The dear man needs a miracle. I believe in miracles. Praying for one for him. A fresh start.
Gloria, Ponders is a good name! I never looked at it that way... but we do "ponder." I ponder a lot when I think of what could happen to our beautiful country, to our freedoms, to our social security, to our medicare/medicaid, etc etc.
SHANA TOVA, Eva--and thank you for that, Gloria. How's my Phoo? I've been having a bad time of it, so I really appreciate you all keeping this going. I appreciate your prayers.
Happy Birthday, Surfie--I hope you got to eat cake!
Eva, keep us updated on Bambu; gosh, I hate giving them antibiotics. Our first cat was on the pink stuff and would shake his head when we gave it to him. It was all over the room!
We're hot today, but at least we can open our windows. I hope Ms. Page is well--and where's our Paget?
Phooey, thank you for the YouTube link. Another fascinating adventure..to hear the Shofar. I had a look and listen to several other Jewish customs while I was there.
Good evening, Gloria and Eva... It's always wonderful to hear from you. I haven't looked at any news this evening. We are just watching football. Our Denver Broncos are losing miserably to Atlanta Falcons.
Happy Monday! Happy New Year 5773!
ReplyDeletePoor kitty looks like it stuck it's paw in a light socket.
Eva, I don't get the Happy New Year 5773 thing.
ReplyDeleteAnyway kitty had a bath and is mad!
I would not want to dry that cat.
Phooey, the year 5773 is the year on the Jewish calendar. Very special celebration.
DeleteSOUND THE SHOFAR!
