Good Morning Ponders... I am helping Froggy get ready for her weekly doctor visit. They will look at her foot, and re-bandage it. Not much else planned for today.
Phooey, are you out of the head long enough to tickle 'em? Thought you were still camped out--how's it going? It'll be nice to get that over with; you're a good role model to all us gals who need that test still. I had a real good visit today--my heal is almost done. I just have a piece about the size of two Lincoln heads on a penny to go. My hand is better too, so I'm happy!
Yay, Froggy! I'm so glad to get these progress reports. It makes me feel as though I'm taking part in the healing. Of course, I'm just along for the ride and you are the one who has been suffering through it all! I'm glad it's almost over.
Of course you're part of the healing, Eva; I always take comfort in your presence here-I always feel your prayers and best wishes very deeply. I miss you like crazy when you're gone. You haven't had an easy summer yourself; I admire the way you treated your kin--what a job you did taking care of them! You've always been a real leader in how you treat people and with your common sense. I think everyone who meets you secretly admires you--I know I do. 'Wogness loves you to death ;-)
That's such a sweet thing to say, Froggy, and I so appreciate it! I'm overcome today. Along with your kind words, I got a delivery of roses from my sister- and brother-in-law thanking me again for helping them out with the parents. I really don't think I did anything special, except fly across the country and spend a week with people I love. I was nervous in case anything went wrong, but nothing did. I don't know how good I'd be in an emergency. I don't think I give off a vibe that reassures people. I do try to be helpful. That's about it, though.
Great news, Froggy! It makes all of us so happy when you are on the mend and feeling better.
Phooey, you're always in our prayers. Please let us know how it goes as soon as you can.
I made it through Monday! The weather is cooling down. I'm enjoying living in a climate that has 4 distinct seasons. Along with that ... I believe Romney/Ryan are going to win big and my son is coming for a week in December. I'm a happy woman.

I'll tickle her toes when she comes back.

ReplyDeleteYipee Froggy! You are correct. Tickle toes must wait another day.
