Can we survive this...and Bill too?

  1. This article from Breitbart is written by Aaron Kline, Breitbart's Jerusalem bureau chief and senior investigative reporter. Have a look. I think you'll like it.

"The YouTube sensations known as Diamond and Silk, former Democrats who left the party to support Donald Trump, responded on Sunday to Hillary Clinton’s most recent charges of racism against the Republican presidential candidate."

  2. And, Ponders, Seattle and Everett, WA, will get a visit from Trump on Tuesday. Unfortunately I will be out at food bank that day. I hope that I don't get caught in some demonstration while I'm on the bus.

Our Trump is fearless. Don't know if he can pull off this election...or if the Clintons (yes, bill and hill) have already cheated their way in. No doubt they have been "promised" a stint in the Whitehouse. Is that a "stunt" for the "stint"?

  3. Again I was listening to Hugh Hewitt in the night on my tiny radio. He said that we need to know about FCPA - Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977. Maybe everyone knows about this but me. I've learned a lot about politics and government from The Pond and Ponders. Has something to do with how the Clinton Foundation is run.

"The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977 (FCPA) (15 U.S.C. § 78dd-1, et seq.) is a United States federal law known primarily for two of its main provisions, one that addresses accounting transparency requirements under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and another concerning bribery of foreign officials."

  4. Froggy was reading some political headlines to me and laughing. She said about this one, "Kerry must be the stupidest man on the planet."
Though Anthony Weiner ties for the honor!

Kerry: 'Media Would Do Us All a Service If They Didn’t Cover' Terrorism as Much
    By Lauretta Brown | August 29, 2016

(CNSNews.com) – Secretary of State John Kerry said Monday during an appearance in Bangladesh that the media could “do us all a service” if they didn’t cover terrorism “quite as much.”

    1. Hi Deer Eva, So nice to hear from you. What have you and Joe been up to this summer? Any trips or just hanging out at home? Are you watching politics on TV? CNN has Trump's name on their shows almost non-stop. I call that free advertising. Froggy is always showing me some tacky outfit that Hillary is wearing. Her hair needs a little combing too.

Write when you can. We miss hearing about your adventures.

  6. Hey Ponders. Did anyone see that Homeland has proposed taking control of the Nov elections? Supposedly this is because of Russian hackers getting into some states election machines. My gut tells me that is a ruse and it is part of the lib plan to steal the election and call martial law in Nov. Obama already gave himself the power to do that.

In a few weeks control of our internet is to be given to the United Nations. This is another thing that has me wondering who is behind it. Can this be stopped? Too many people are asleep as to what is going on.

A friend of ours was at the Trump rally last night. Big rally. I watched live stream on Conservative Treehouse. She is so excited she is going to volunteer. I believe there are more of us than anyone knows.

Our weather has turned much cooler. I need some mellow temps to get work done outside.

Steve just had his 5 month anniversary of clean and sober. YEA!!! And he has a girlfriend. Life is changing.

    1. Hey Gloria...first, let me congratulate Steve on his 5-months! That is quite an accomplishment.

I don't understand how we can relinquish our control of Internet. Is it going to be controlled like China and Korea control theirs?

The world has gone stupid. I say that a lot lately.

  7. I'm concerned about news reports of Homeland Security taking charge of the elections, as well as the internet being turned over to the UN. Hope to spend some of the upcoming long weekend to educate myself more about it.

Donald Trump looking presidential lately, if you ask me. I haven't been this excited about voting for a presidential candidate EVER. Not even Reagan. My first time to vote was Richard Nixon. I pray for his safety and for our country every single day. Without fail.

Gloria, YAY for Steve's 5 month anniversary! Just one word of caution: I have a lot of friends and family members who are recovering drug addicts/alcoholics. AA and NA both recommend not making any life changes like getting into a relationship until clean and sober for a year. Have you considered going to some Al-Anon meetings? I don't want to offend you or be the hall monitor, but Al-Anon helped me a lot.

Has anyone heard from Phooey? Big hurricane going on right now. Phooey and EC are in my prayers.

I will be SO happy driving home after work tomorrow to enjoy a 3 day weekend. I haven't talked much about my job lately. We've been through tough-as-nails times. I think things are changing a tad bit for the better. Will write about it later.

    Love you, Deer Frogs!

    1. Love ya, Surfie...Froggy and I are getting ready for our Seahawks football game. We are looking forward to 3-day weekend too. My, the summer is going so quickly.

Haven't heard anything from our Phooey or EC for a while. We miss them at The Pond. Also Paget has been kind of quiet too.

    2. Hi Surfie. Yes, I am fully aware of that AA recommends to not enter into a new relationship for a year. He has known Megan for a while. Steve used to work for her Dad, who also happens to be my son in law's brother. For Steve going to AA and developing friendships with other guys has helped him not be isolated.

There has been talk of more Wikileaks coming out in Sept about Hill. Julian Assange may have been threatened. Also Bill may have used that meeting with AG Lynch on the plane to threaten her. Would have liked to be a fly on the wall.

  8. We just got wind and rain, but Phooey and Gram probably lost power, they are on the coast. I had a long post the other day, went to a new tab to get a link for you (now I don't remember what it was about !)
anyway when I came back the whole thing was gone. I too, recommend Ala-Non, my mother-I-L was an alcoholic and went sober at 60 yrs old. EC

    1. Hi EC...always a treat to hear from you. Glad you are safe. Weather in Florida sounded bad on the news. And there was an earthquake in Oklahoma too. Sorry to hear that you lost a post. Blogger is harder to use these days. It used to be so easy.

  9. Surfie, are you rockin' & rollin'? My oh my, OK is getting earthquakes often, it seems. Stay safe.

'Wog, we've taken so many trips this summer. That's why I haven't been around much (I always read, however). I'm trying to keep away from politics as much as possible because it depresses me so. I don't understand how Hillary can be out of jail, much less being touted as the next prez. Hate to be a Debbie Downer, but this country has changed so much already that I can't see it coming back. Things are bad out there.

Heading up to Yonkers now for my MIL's 96th birthday. I'm glad she isn't aware nowadays. She'd be so upset about what Hillary is getting away with.

    1. Hi Eva, Just glad to hear that you and Joe are okay. Wonderful that you got to travel this summer. I know what you mean about our older relatives. They just wouldn't understand about today's world. I put up some political pics and posts, but you don't have to comment on them. We get toooo much info about Hillary, Weiner, etc.

  10. Talk about rockin' & rollin'!!! The quake this morning was a 5.6. Funny how things go into slow motion when an earthquake starts. The last 5.0 quake we had here was the VERY FIRST DAY I arrived back home from SoCal. My friends and family still tease me that I brought quakes with me. This beautiful old house I live in rolled with it just fine. Note to Self: Increase renter's insurance. I have more stuff now!

EC, so great to hear from you! Sure would like to hear from Phooey.

I live in the 1st block off a trendy stretch of Western Avenue in OKC. Today is the annual street fair. Bands, food trucks, vintage cars, sales at all the antique stores and restaurants. It will be impossible to drive in and out of my driveway after 12:00 Noon today. So, I'm leaving right now to make my grocery store run. Then I can settle in, walk over and have some fun. My absolute favorite antique consignment store is a 2-block walk. I'll probably spend most of the afternoon there. One of the best sushi restaurants is in the same block. Antique browsing and sushi in one easy walk! Happy!

    Love you Deers!

    1. Surfie, you are so thoughtful to drop by The Pond even though you have a busy weekend. We love ya. We did wonder about the earthquakes in OK. Sounds like you picked a good house to live in. Sis and I love the Seattle street fairs in the summer. Haven't been able to go to much this summer, but we enjoy hearing about them.

  11. Froggy just finished a big bowl of Blue Lake green beans...heated with a little butter. I'm teasing her now ...saying that she's "full of beans."

Going to put up new Pond Pic for weekend picnics. Then I'm going outside to enjoy the sun...between rain sprinkles.
