    1. Phooey,
Froggy wrote you a Valentines message below.. under Anonymous. I guess I'm the webmaster, so I'll fix it so she can post under Froggy.

  2. I was thinking back to Valentine's Days past 'cause that is what people my age do. A few days before My DH came home frome work and said, "I need to explain something before you see the paper and get the wrong idea." Scott was in the habit of going to the local grocery store on his break to pick up a snack. While there a newspaper reporter snagged him to pose in front of the V-day display with a big flowery card. Scott said, "Don't worry, I didn't but it." 35 years ago. I clipped the pic from paper and still have it.

  3. You have always been my valentine--of course you are! My wheelchair does not fit into the kneehole of my desk, so I have to type bent over by half. But I love all of you!

  4. Froggy, we all love you right back! If I could afford it, I'd buy you a laptop so you could post and surf the intertubes from the bed, the couch, or your wheelchair. Happy Surfie Valentine's Smooch to you and all our Deer Pond Family.

Gloria, you made me laugh out loud again. The story itself is hilarious, but when you wrote "Don't worry, I didn't BUT it" I nearly fell off the couch laughing again. You are such a treasure!

Hope Eva & Joe, and EC's hubs are doing fine today. I do so love you all. Happy Valentine's Day!

  7. Hi Frog! We're thrilled to hear from you. After posting yesterday, my computer went goofy. Have spent hours testing for malware ,viruses and just making sure all settings are correct. Don't know what happened but it seems to be working now. I really need to backup before this thing crashes ! Love you all especially Little Nat !

  8. Hi Ponders,
Froggy loves hearing from all of you. Makes her feel better. She has been resting most of today. Her leg still hurts. Seems like it should be healed by now. Guess it just takes time. We have rain and a dreary day. Just make ya want to sleep.

  9. Howdy Pond Family,
Another lazy day in Seattle. We are watching Olympic figure skating, and snoozing from time to time. What's everyone doing today?

  10. Good afternoon everyone,

Hi Wog, glad to hear you're having a relaxing Sunday. We're spending our day resting too. We spent Friday evening, and all of Saturday helping son and family move to their new home. Thank goodness son had young strong friends to help, but hubby and I definitely did our share too . DIL was so organized! For someone like me, that was awesome, and a little bit intimidating! Everything was boxed and labeled, which helped make it an easy move. It still took a day and a half to move them since they had lots of stuff. Son still had his apartment to move, (they were married in late December), and so we were moving two households into one big house. They bought an older house, built in 1968, that has 3200 sq. ft. It has lots of windows, and is located two blocks from a nice park on the Columbia River. We told them they can have the family Thanksgiving at their house this year!

Froggy, it was so good to hear from you on Valentine's Day! Sending love to you too! I can certainly understand your dilemma as you try to wrangle your wheelchair up to the computer. But, it's great to hear that you're getting better. I pray that you are healed soon!

Eva, I always enjoy updates about baby Nathaniel. I would love to see his picture, and I'm sure the other ponders would too. If you still have our emails, it would be great if you could send us the picture of Nikki and Nathaniel that Wog mentioned. Just a thought, if it isn't too much trouble. My email is Paget651@ gmail.com

I hope everyone has dug out of the snow back east! We are so lucky here! We had one weekend of snow, and then this weekend it was in the 50's.

Lots of chores are calling my name, so I will go now.

Love and prayers to all of you, from Paget.
