Lowes and The “All American Muslim

By Walid Shoebat and Ben Barrack

So you are watching a soccer game in Dearborn Michigan between Al-Tadamun and Chelsea advertised in public leaflets and the Arab American website dedicating it to what they termed “The Day of Jerusalem”. Then you begin to wonder why sports are mixed with such slogans?

What is this “Day of Jerusalem” all about? Then following the game you find out it was hosted by Husham Alhusayni, the main spiritual leader of the Karbala Center in Dearborn who had Samir Al-Jabiri and Muhammad Alhasayni thank the imam and said the victory was “dedicated to honor the souls of the martyrs of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa…”. These are clearly terrorists who murder civilians. But the real question should be as to why no one out of the thousands of Dearborn Muslims watching this hate fest objected to the open support of terrorism?

Husham Alhusayni is not just the imam at the Karbala Center in Dearborn, he is also featured in the All American Muslim that airs on The Learning Channel (TLC). In the program, Alhusayni is seen presiding over marriages within Muslim families in Dearborn portraying their day-to-day life interacting in English.

When Sean Hannity attempts to extract a confession from Alhusayni, the double speaking slick-Willy, Alhusayni, repeatedly refused to denounce Hezbollah and Americans wonder, perhaps he is pleading the fifth? But translations from the Arabic might give all Americans some real shock-and-awe; the open declarations of publicly supporting Hezbollah to millions, but its in Arabic, of course. Alhusayni is a signatory to the Jerusalem Document of 2009, which reads more like Mein Kampf. It refers to the war on Zionism as a war between “good and evil.” Zionism is considered as an “aggression” which is infecting “the entire human race.” Muslims are told to “get ready for the holy Jihad”.

And if you think this is simply the “struggle within” version of Jihad, just read the entire phrase “We remind our sons to get ready to carry out their duty in Holy Jihad and continue the path which our young valiant men in Hezbollah began in Southern Lebanon”.

This message was not given to Muslims in Lebanon but is “essential for the Iraqi community living in the Diaspora” which includes Dearborn. Several of top Muslim leaders in the U.S. endorsed it, like Fadel Al-Sahlani, the official representative of Iraq’s leading Shia religious authority and Muhammad Zaki al-Souajh who was the leading imam of the Muslim community in Houston, Texas for several years as well as Murtada Qazwini.
It is not only the dog which the Catholic convert to Islam in the All American Muslim show had to get rid of, as his new Muslim family could not tolerate dogs being unclean in Islamic culture; the document also refers to completely ridding the world from Zionism:

“The struggle between good an evil is not measured by a generation. It does not circulate on a specific land. Jerusalem is an Islamic destiny that stems from ancient history into the future indebted to 1/5 of humanity. What it suffers from Zionist aggression does not only encompass the Palestinian borders but the entire human race. It is time for the nations concerned which has influence, that is the U.S. and all its allies to reconsider its position regarding Zionist aggression”.

The cancer of Zionism does not only concentrate on the Palestinian Israeli conflict but is an infection to “the entire human race”.

And if Americans do not trust my translation from Arabic, they can even watch for themselves the All American Muslim Alhusayni as few words even slip in English (watch 9:24 mark) while appearing to make the point that evil exists in “every nationality” and then speaks broadly about the Zionists equating them with Timothy McVeigh and Jeffrey Dahmer:

“In America, there is Timothy McVeigh… he’s evil. Jeffrey Dahmer… he cut the heads off of children and put it in the refrigerator… he’s a criminal. Saddam, he’s a criminal, killing innocent people. So many Zionists in Palestine, killing innocent people.”

It would have been nice to air a nuanced show with the real American Muslim at the Karbala Center; belief, political aspiration and all, including the all black cloaks covering women’s entire body, save for a small portion of the face—a far cry from the decorative attire that appears on the television show. I would not mind it one bit if the show includes the Photos taken inside the center with men participating in self-flagellation (video here and here) repetitively whipping and scourging themselves with self-inflicted abuse to memorialize the killing of the Prophet Muhammad’s grandson, Imam Hussein by the Sunni Muslims.

What they do not tell you on the show that most of these Muslim families are primarily of the Shia sect. Indeed these denounce Al-Qaeda; not primarily for carrying out 9/11 but for its connection to Saudi Wahhabists who were behind destroying Shia national monuments in Samarra. Americans do not understand the link and is why Al-Husayni speaks against the Wahhabists for being the instrument of terrorism “against the Shia”. He is continually seen (see 6:50) blaming Al-Saud as a “shame to the world” “Arabs are Kaffirs” these are “the residues of Zionism who rejects the birth of Jesus and the awaited Mahdi”.

Am I saying that all Muslims and Arabs practice doublespeak and have an agenda? Hardly, Nadia Mahdeed from AlSharq Al-Awsat (Middle East News) entered the Karbala Center to interview Alhusayni, she was struck by how many people approached her for not adhering to the dress code: “I was not wearing a black sheet that women who came to prayer are supposed to wear.” Mahdeed then relayed what she was told by worshippers: “The people who came to pray all told me that they have no trust in America. I am amazed since they all enjoyed living in it.” When she interviewed Alhusayni, she said to him: “Your followers insisted I mention to you that they hate Saddam Hussein but that they also have no trust in America.” Alhusayni, a master of political rhetoric, cleverly replied by adding the word ‘policy’: “Not many of us trust in the American policy.”

Indeed, doublespeak artists live by double standards. As if underscoring the reality that Alhusayni only wanted to convey a peaceful perception while seeming to support something else entirely, the conflict between the two was not lost on Mahdeed: “Despite his gracefulness, when I walked out of there, my mind was charged with the slogans of war, not the tranquility of peace that supposed to exists inside such a place.”

Lowe’s Home Improvement which has found itself at the center of controversy for pulling its advertising from the show is right and is behaving as Americans ought to behave; struggling in a middle of a controversy with outcries from so-called All American Muslims unleashing their only sanctioned dog—CAIR. The Council of American Islamic Relations swiftly acted as the Muslim ACLU barking slogans of “racism” and “bigotry” with threats from Rep. Chris Murphy D-CT indicating he and other House members would be sending a letter to Lowe’s on the issue. Barbra Boxer, Chuck Shumer and Dian Feinstine, hardly right-wing hawks, all said that CAIR is closely connected to terrorism. And so is Alhusayni of the All American Muslim.

Born in Bethlehem of Judea, Walid's grandfather was the Muslim Mukhtar (chieftain) of Beit Sahour-Bethlehem (The Shepherd's Fields) and a friend of Haj-Ameen Al-Husseni, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and notorious friend of Adolf Hitler. Walid's great grandfather, Abdullah Ali Awad-Allah, was also a fighter and close associate of both Abdul Qader and Haj Amin Al-Husseini, who led the Palestinians against Israel. Walid lived through and witnessed Israel’s Six Day War while living in Jericho.

As a young man, he became a member of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, and participated in acts of terror and violence against Israel, and was later imprisoned in the Russian Compound, Jerusalem's central prison for incitement and violence against Israel. After his release, he continued his life of violence and rioting in Bethlehem and the Temple Mount. After entering the U.S, he worked as a counselor for the Arab Student Organization at Loop College in Chicago and continued his anti-Israel activities. In 1993, Walid studied the Tanach (Jewish Bible) in a challenge to convert his wife to Islam.

Six months later, after intense study, Walid realized that everything he had been taught about Jews was a lie. Convinced he was on the side of evil, he became an advocate for his former enemy. Driven by a deep passion to heal his own soul, and to bring the truth about the Jews and Israel to the world, Walid shed his former life and his work as a software engineer and set out to tirelessly bring the cause of Israel to tens of thousands of people throughout the world: churches and synagogues, civic groups, government leaders and media.

Walid has written several online books including "Dear Muslim, Let Me Tell You Why I Believed" and "Israel, And The World's Mock Trial”, where he exposes anti-Semitism and the hatred of Jews in both the Islamic Christian and secular worlds. Walid is an American citizen and lives in the USA with his wife and children, under this assumed name.

Obama Campaign Collecting GOP Emails

By Keith Koffler

The Obama presidential campaign is launching an effort to collect Republican email addresses by inviting its supporters to submit information about their Republican associates to the Obama 2012 website.

The effort could help the Obama campaign build a database that would enable it to target Republican voters during the general election campaign. But, more perniciously, it could also become part of an Democratic effort to influence Republican primary voters to select a candidate Democrats think Obama could most easily defeat.

The Democratic National Committee last month released a video that seemed designed to damage Mitt Romney, the GOP candidate feared most by the Obama campaign.
The Obama information collection effort is cast under the mischievous guise of asking Obama supporters to “have a little fun at the expense of a Republican in your life” by signing them up to get an email from the Obama campaign ribbing them for having “inspired” the Obama supporter to donate.

The result, however, is that the Obama campaign gets a new trove of Republican email addresses that it could never have collected through voluntary submissions.

From the Obama website:
Who inspires you to give?
This holiday season, we’re giving you a chance to have a little fun at the expense of a Republican in your life by letting them know they inspired you to make a donation to the Obama campaign.Simply enter their name and email address below. Then, we’ll send them a message letting them know they inspired you to donate.
Thank you for supporting this campaign, and happy holidays
Important: By making a donation today, you’ll be automatically entered for a chance to have dinner with Barack and Michelle Obama. By clicking on the “Submit” button below or otherwise participating in the promotion, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and represent that you satisfy all of the eligibility requirements.
The effort is being supported by emails from the campaign to members of the vast Obama 2012 email list urging them to participate.

One message, from Deputy Campaign Manager Julianna Smoot, also invites donors to buy something from the Obama 2012 store for their Republican friend.
Really want to fire up your GOP friends? Buy them a gift from the 2012 store. I recommend the birther mugs — they get the message across pretty well.
The email was sent Tuesday. If the Obama supporter sends the gift directly to their Republican friend, then the campaign has a new personal address for its database.

Ron Paul: Bush Administration Was ‘Gleeful’ After 9/11 Attacks

The Blaze

Speaking in Iowa Thursday evening, Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul said that the Bush administration were “gleeful” after the September 11 attacks because it gave them an excuse to invade Iraq.

“Just think of what happened after 9/11. Immediately before there was any assessment there was glee in the administration because now we can invade Iraq,” the Texas congressman said. He also suggested that officials are currently setting the stage for an invasion of Iran.

Reid: "Millionaire Job Creators Are Like Unicorns" ... They "Don't Exist"

RealClearPolitics
Reid: "The Republicans say the richest of the rich in our country, even those who make millions every year, shouldn’t contribute more to get our economy back on track. They call our plan, time after time, a tax on job creators, and I say so-called “job creators.” Because I say that, Mr. President, every shred of evidence contradicts this red herring.
For example, there have been many outlets, but I’ll concentrate on one. National Public Radio went looking for one of these fictitious millionaire job creators. A reporter reached out to the business groups and a tax lobby in the Republican Congress hoping to interview one of these millionaires. Days ticked by with no luck. Many of our job creators are like unicorns, they're impossible to find and don't exist. That’s because only a tiny fraction of people making more than a million dollars, probably less than one percent, are actually small business owners and only a tiny fraction of that tiny fraction is a traditional job creator."

(Ribbet!)

I am reading this while waiting for my sister to come home from work, and I am just shaking my head. 'Woggy works for 2 brothers who started a large and prosperous produce company in Seattle. Though they started out with two rented trucks, and worked from dawn to dusk, now it is certainly a million-dollar concern--even multimillion dollar.

Quite a number of the family works there, and they provide profit sharing, buy their employees in 'Woggy's dept. lunches and pizza every month, give her a nice Christmas bonus, and 3 weeks paid off. Their business is continually growing--and they have created jobs for about 800-1000 people in the Seattle area, and they deserve every dime they earn.

WHAT IN THE HELL IS HARRY REID TALKING ABOUT?

They Mean Well... Really?

By Victor Volsky

For the life of me, I can't figure out why conservative pundits, even such stalwarts as Rush Limbaugh, when discussing the virtually inexhaustible supply of liberal follies and blunders, hasten to express their confidence that the perpetrators are "well-intentioned."

Why do conservatives hew mindlessly to the conventional line that far-left radicals are necessarily high-minded and motivated by the best of intentions?  Why aren't liberals challenged when they generously absolve themselves of any wrongdoing on the grounds of their good intentions?

"Good intentions cannot compensate for evil works," advises the Torah (Hebrew Matthew 3:1); "[b]y their fruits ye shall know them," avers Scripture (Matt. 7:16).  St. Francis de Sales warned that "Hell is full of good intentions or desires."  Shakespeare wrote, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."  Sir Jonathan Sacks, chief rabbi of Great Britain, in his writings discusses "the tragedy of good intentions."

If you think that the wisdom of the sages should have long since disabused the naifs of their delusion, think again.  Human credulity is probably the deepest of all abysses, for one can be falling into it forever.  And so a lot of conservatives cheerfully go on believing that liberals are good at heart and hence deserve understanding and sympathy even in the face of the most gigantic calamities engineered by the left -- no doubt with the best of intentions.
The war on poverty, that has so far cost $16 trillion, has beggared America while achieving results exactly contrary to those intended.  The lower-class black family has been all but destroyed, with 70 percent of children being raised in single-parent homes.  Millions of inner-city denizens have been sentenced to a lifetime of dependence and despondency, their self-respect demolished, their spirit crushed by the culture of handouts.  Meanwhile, the poverty level has not budged an inch.  If a racist enemy planned to destroy the black community, he couldn't come up with a more efficient strategy of achieving his objective.  Ah, but the deep thinkers who are responsible for this tragedy "meant well."

For the last three and a half years, the country has been in the grip of a severe economic crisis brought on by the subprime mortgage bubble.  It was caused by the desire of the progressives to promote home-ownership for the poor, above all minorities.  The architects of the disaster were too busy patting themselves on the back to ask themselves the obvious question: what happens when the housing bubble bursts, as it sooner or later will, and the largely indigent owners of the homes, practically forced on them by the well-wishers, find themselves unable either to make their mortgage payments or to sell their abodes?  Have Barney Frank and his cohorts owned up to their monstrous blunder?  That would be too much to expect, because, you see, their intentions were pure as the driven snow.

Claiming good intentions as a blanket justification of bad behavior is nothing new.  It is a modern equivalent of medieval antinomianism, which Wikipedia defines as a notion that "under the gospel dispensation of grace, moral law is of no use or obligation because faith alone is necessary to salvation."  The communists adapted the concept to their needs, substituting ideological fervor for grace.  One of the basic precepts of Leninism is that whatever serves the cause of the working class is moral and whatever is contrary to its interests is immoral.  So for the progressives, Lenin's spiritual heirs, it was quite natural to adopt his situational morality and use it to deadly effect.

It is impossible to underrate the importance of situational morality for liberals.  So divorced are they from reality, so used to dealing only with abstractions, so innocent of the world as it is, that they exhibit a sort of reverse-Midas touch -- any attempt on their part to do something practical inevitably turns into a series of pratfalls.  Naturally, they are loath to talk of their deeds, concentrating instead on their pristine and virtuous intentions, the only thing that really counts in their book.

And what do you know?  It appears that conservatives tacitly acquiesce to their opponents' lofty view of themselves.  For some strange reason, conservative pundits and politicians seem to agree that whatever the left does, no matter how obnoxious or destructive, it's okay because its intentions are so virtuous.  Liberals are far less liberal in their attitudes.  It is only toward themselves that they are endlessly forgiving.  They judge their opponents by an entirely different set of rules: in their view, conservatives are ignorant knuckle-draggers, vicious troglodytes, evil schemers, salivating at the prospect of throwing grandpa out of the house into the cold, forcing grandma to eat dog food, and gleefully watching black children starve and die in the streets.

Good intentions are the trump card of the left, the one-size-fits-all excuse for all its setbacks.  The spectacular failures of communism around the globe never bother them; after all, one cannot really expect those barbarous Russians (or Chinese or Vietnamese or Cubans or...you name it) to succeed, now can one?  In our case, insists the home-grown breed of progressives, everything will be different.  All we need is a chance; as smart, educated, and erudite as we are, it will be a cinch we'll build paradise on earth in no time flat.
Progressives stridently proclaim their love for America.  But the country they purport to cherish only exists in their imagination.  It is an America they promise to build after they seize power and blow up the evil capitalist system, a country where everybody will be equal -- except for themselves, of course, because, after all, somebody has to lead the ignorant masses.  But as for the real America of today, they see it as the epitome of evil, the greatest imperialist and militarist oppressor in history, the bane of the minorities and the third world.  They hate it with abandon and dream feverishly of destroying it.

Does any court accept good intentions as extenuating, much less exculpatory, circumstances?  Would any of the liberals who took a bath with Bernie Madoff be mollified if the crook assured them that he meant well?  No, they are hopping mad -- because Madoff has lost their own money.  Had these same liberals sunk billions of taxpayers' money into Madoff's rat hole, they would no doubt view the debacle with perfect equanimity, pleading good intentions in their defense.

It is not difficult to understand why liberals are two-faced hypocrites on the issue.  But why do conservative swallow the bait?  Because it is the Zeitgeist?  But is it a sufficient justification?  Truth is independent of vogue.  Did Copernicus consent to shelve his heliocentricity theory just because the Zeitgeist of his era maintained that the sun revolved around the earth?  The CIA-driven Zeitgeist of the early 1980s was that the Soviet Union was indestructible and "here to stay."  But Ronald Reagan refused to bow to the Zeitgeist and boldly proclaimed his conviction that the communist system was a colossus on clay feet destined to land on the ash-heap of history.  And a few years later, while the liberals were still chuckling at the stupidity of that "amiable dunce," the USSR was no more.

The progressive cause has all the trappings of a quasi-religion, and its adherents are every bit as fervent in their beliefs, every bit as intolerant and hate-filled, as any religious fanatic.  Seeing themselves as the holy warriors of progress, they are absolutely single-minded and ruthless.  Conservatives view them as "our friends across the aisle," as honest, well-meaning opponents.  But liberals don't reciprocate.  For them, conservatives are enemies devoid of humanity and deserving only of pitiless destruction.  Does anyone doubt the sincerity of Democrats when they castigate their Republican opponents as Nazis?

The Koranic principle of taqiyya allows the faithful to dissimulate in their dealings with the infidel.  By the same token, liberals never feel bound by any moral constraints dealing with conservatives.  In any war, the enemy must be dehumanized so as to stiffen the warriors' resolve and inure him to the bloody task at hand.  So liberals feel no compunction lying and cheating to bring down the conservative enemy -- after all, the holy cause justifies any means, however reprehensible they may be otherwise.  Until conservatives understand the ruthless mindset of their "friends across the aisle," they will continue to operate at a huge disadvantage in the political arena.  As President Obama said, "If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun."

Good intentions?  Good grief!  Handy paving material for hell on earth!
