Good morning, my little Chickadees. I fell back. Wish they would just leave the time as summer daylight savings time.
Thank you all for being my friends and letting me come here and say what is on my mind. I sometimes get sarcastic because of my frustration with the stupidity and lies that are told in the media. I feel like people are finally waking up to the idea that we are in danger of loosing America. I hate cheating and lies. What ever happened to honor? Where did the idea come frome that the only way to get what you want is to cheat, lie and steal?
Gloria, sometimes I don't think I can be shocked any more by this Administration and then he'll say something and I'm just dumbfounded all over again. I feel like an alien sometimes, just wandering around wondering where is the outrage. So many individual things should have made this country stand up and fight back, but everything as a whole, should produce an unbelievable roar... and yet, it hasn't. Why are conservatives the only ones (& damn few of us as it is) who even mention the word impeachment?
As my father says, we have a president who is an enemy of the country. Think about how mind-boggling it is to say such a thing. It goes beyond incompetence. It goes beyond ideology. We need him gone or it's over for us.

Yes, the time change has screwed up everything. I didn't sleep well in the night, but I did change all the clocks...including the stove and microwave. You don't know how many clocks you have until they ask us to change them. There is really no good reason to do this twice a year. If we ever get a chance to vote on it, I'm in. And I can't tell you what the time change has done to Wolfie. We tried to put him on a feeding schedule so he doesn't get fat...he doesn't understand that the clocks have changed!!!!
That's funny, 'Wog, and I know what you mean. My cats are all confused. Luckily, since I'm trying to fatten them up, there is no longer a feeding schedule. The time change gets to them as far as sleeping patterns go, though. Gaining an hour is better than losing one, I think.
The planned destruction of our country began from within, even before I was born. I think it was Nikita Kruschev who said we would be destroyed from within by small bites of socialism.
Guess what? We have done just what Nikita said: we have allowed small bites of socialism to creep into our lives for decades. It really started with the beginnings of TV news. If you read some transcripts from those days, it was just as biased then as it is now. Back in those days, people thought it was the truth.
Problem for those feeding us their Koolaid was summed up no better than Andrew Breitbart: We have the internet, and we can fact-check your ass.
I truly believe the vast majority of US citizens are so fed up with being put down, called bitter clingers ... we are going to clean their clock on Tuesday.
Don't even get me started about the education system, which has been destroying us from within since the mid 60's. We're gonna have to clean that clock, too.
Hi Surfie...socialism does nibble away at our freedoms. I never understood the attraction. And everyone who votes for it...don't think that there isn't a bunch of rich guys at the top who are running everything. Thank God for Breitbart...someone who told us the truth.
Prayer: Please, please, give us a president who cares and loves America. And who is American!
Surfie (hi, everyone ;-) check out John Dewey and see that our schools were programmed to go left quite a bit before the 1960's (they just speeded up then)--and Woodrow Wilson was the first true 'Progressive' mess we had for president. FDR and LBJ did us a dirty turn, too.

I'm with you on all that, Surfie. It was started long before we were born. It just seems as though we're sliding downhill faster now, although that may just be due to 24/7 news and information. I'm still amazed with all of this technology that people don't bother to check things out. My husband tells me about his fellow teachers and their lack of knowledge. One of them cheerfully admitted to Joe that he was probably a Communist. Joe was amazed at the guy's ease in saying that. I guess it's lucky that he isn't the activist type.
I can't help but feel that we may be looking at a landslide. I don't know why I feel that way since I don't really read anything from the other side or even talk to anyone who is an avid Obama supporter. Maybe they feel the same way, but somehow, I doubt it. I just hope I'm not kidding myself.
Eva, we have to suffer through two more days. Chris Cristy said that he would still vote for Romney. And I read this evening that New Jersey could vote by email or by fax. How do they control cheating?
Deer Eva, have you heard anything about your house back East? Any news at all? I can't believe the pictures and videos I've seen!
I don't think teachers understand the true nature of socialism and communism. It will not be fun; it will not be nice. I don't talk politics at school. Most of the students will vote for obama, and the teachers are union. I hear them say that obama is the best president we've ever had.
