Good morning to all. I'm spending my Sunday cooking for next week. I'm cooking so I'll have things to take for lunch and things ready to make dinner when I get home at night.
Also trying to learn how to use Excel.
I'm officially allergic to something in the air here in OKC. Am told it will be about 6 months for my system to acclimate. Kleenex and I are very good friends.
Hope everyone is doing well and putting up with the weather all over the place. Alas, it is winter!
Had a horrible night. Really, really horrible. Now I'm all stuffed up and with painful swollen glands again! Thank goodness for football! That's what I'm going to be doing. Watching the games.

Surfie.. You must be extra miserable knowing that you can't do much to feel better. I know about being allergic to different parts of the country. Froggy had a bad time in San Diego when we lived by the ocean. But when we moved a couple miles away from the ocean, she was better.
Eva.. you sound like you are getting worse. A sore throat is the worst! I never get better until the throat is better. Do you have an anesthetic throat spray? You can get them at the drug store. It can ease the pain long enough to fall asleep.
Anybody else watching football today beside Froggy, Eva and the Wog? These are important games this today.
In case anyone wonders, Froggy is running at slow speed today too.
Just when I thought this air traveling was a cinch; our flight home was canceled.:( So, we're stuck here in Texas for another day, as we can't get a flight out until tomorrow night. Something about the weather between San Francisco and Pasco being so bad they cancelled the flight. Today it was in the 70's again in Ft. Worth, but I just want to get home to my cold northwest!
Sorry to hear that my fellow WA friends are still struggling with this last storm. :(
Froggy, get well soon! Eva, are you going back to your doc? They don't sound very caring to me!
It's hard to type on my cell phone, so I'll sign off now.
Surfie--that sounds yummy--home cooking! What do you fix? We've been eating terribly lately and need to readjust. I'm so glad you found a job you like and have settled in so nicely!
Eva--I'm getting worried about your sore throat--especially now that it's swollen. You need to speak/go to the doctor; we can't have you down. I know how this feels; I can't seem to shake it. 'woggy is stopped coughing so much, but she's awfully tired still... Tell the boys to be nice to you ;-)
Phooey--Baltimore should've won that game (but I was rooting for the Pats). They seemed like they wanted it more...
Paget--how nice of you to think of us and come online; I don't know how to use a celly to do it. I'm sorry your flight got canceled--what a headache. The weather here on this side hasn't been a bargain though it hasn't snowed again. We're having trouble staying warm, but at least our power isn't out. Gloria, did your brother get his electric back? Paget, you have a safe trip home!
