Will someone get me one of these?
I know I'd feel better...

  1. Thank you for the sandwich this morning, 'Woggy. What do you mean by opening the front door like that--woke my ass up--is it sticking again? Come right home would you? You can drop off your stuff.

  2. I wish I could! In the meantime, though, look at this site: www.ustream.tv/channel/kitten-nursery

It's a siamese cat mommy with 3 kittens. The little ones don't have their eyes open yet (or at least I haven't gotten on when their eyes are open). They are sooo cute and she's such a good mommy. When they're awake, they make the cutest sounds.

Good morning, everyone! Have a great day :)

    1. Eva, I have have some time now before I start homework. I had a look at the siamese cat with her three babies. It's wonderful to watch.. and listen to.

  3. Hi all. What a cute sleepy kitty. I keep going and looking at the Forget Me Not Shelter website to look at their cats. That is where we got Peanut. Right now they have some Siamese mix kitties, one with a bobbed tail...so cute.

Been keeping you in prayer Froggy. Hope you have a good day.

I started baking for my grand daughter last night and right off the bat I had a failure. So I had to scrap 1 batch of brownies and start over.

  4. Gloria, are you thinking of getting Peanut a furry friend? I used to say, "Always get two," but now neither Froggy nor I can take care of more than one.

I go to the cat websites for Seattle and look at pictures of adoptable kitties. Froggy really wants one, and it would keep her company when I am not home.

  6. Frog, are you feeling better today? Hope so! I love this picture ... you know I have a soft spot for orange tabbies!

Thank all of you for praying for my boss, Janice. She was away from work 3 days last week, moving her Mom from far northern OK to an assisted living facility here in OKC. Janice was braced for the worse (mom has alzheimers, among other things). When she came into work today, I could see by the look in her face that it went well and that Janice was de-stressing. Mom LOVES being in her new place because she is close to Janice and all kinds of family. Everybody has been dropping by all day every day to see her. Janice still has a long road ahead as her mom's disease progresses. But, for now, Mom is happy and Janice is happy. Thank you for your prayers!

It was sort of weird today at work. Two people got fired. One has been there about 4 months, in a management position. He was just stubborn and incompetent. The other is 22, hired 3 weeks ago, in shipping/receiving. That young man was not honest about some medical conditions which preclude him being his feet 10 hours a day. It's so sad, because I'm privy before it happens and can't stand the sad look on their faces when they leave. Plus, I personally liked both of them. C'est la vie!

I'm making dinner, watching a CSI Los Angeles rerun, then one of the last episodes of The Closer tonight. Love and smooches!

    1. Surfie, Froggie knows how much you love the orange tabbies. This one is bunchie and snugglely (is that a word?). Ya just want to grab him up and hug him.

Tell Janice that it's good that people visit her mom. Froggy can tell you more about that. By dropping in unannounced and not on a regular schedule, it will keep her mom safe from abuse. The aides will take better care of mom because they don't know when someone might pop in.

I'm sorry to hear that two people got fired. It's never an easy thing to happen. It's not even easy for the person who has to fire them.

I was sad that The Closer was leaving. It was kind of a fun, easy-going show. And we liked the characters. Guess we can enjoy the re-runs somewhere.

What's for dinner at your house?

    2. Surfie, I know there isn't anything than can stop the progression of a horrible disease like Alzheimers, but having regular access to family and friends really seems to make a difference. Janice did a VERY good thing and I'm glad it went smoothly.

Having to let people go, even for cause, is never fun. In a bad economy it's so sad, but it's better for the business not to have people who are incompetent or who lie.

  8. Surfie, what has become of Bill? I have a place in my heart for young men who struggle in life.

  9. what happened to Tuesday! Sorry Froggy, I could have put up a Tuesday picture.

I am at school and my nose is running! Big pain. Don't have enough kleenex for the whole day.

Froggy, I will try to get you some strawberrys and angel food on way home. And I'll get me some of those "stop-your-nose-from-running" pills.
