LITTLE FLOOR KNOT

  1. I've been busy with Wolfie--sorry. We got him at the Seattle Animal Shelter. He's a love. Very good box habits. He's aleady laid on the bed with me And he's tore up my arm (he was an abused cat and I patted him too hard..) He's just beautiful.

  2. Cute name, Froggy! Sorry about your arm! Poor Wolfie, he is so lucky to have a home with you and Wog! I'm sure he will mellow out once he realizes he is in a safe place. He will feel the love!

When we brought Chance home, he ran downstairs and hid for the first day. It took him a couple days to feel at home with us.

You are both patient and kind. Looking forward to hearing more about this dear boy. :)

  3. Paget, thank you so much for the encouragement on Wolfie. I learned to leave him alone when that big, fluffy tail starts snapping. He did take a swipe at me once when I was petting too long. Missed! though he does seem like a very loving little guy.

I lost him yesterday. Not in the livingroom. Not in the kitchen begging for food (They learn that trick quickly!). Not in the hall. I noticed a closet door that was open a little too wide. Anyone with a cat knows this one. Of course, Wolfie was in the closet sitting on top of the laundry hamper. I have to remember to keep doors closed now.

  4. I got a phone call from Froggy. Computer is down. Needs to be unplugged and plugged back, then re-booted. With her hurt back, I don't think that she can get to the router to unplug anything. So Froggy may be "unavailable" until I get home about 3pm.

Keep writing and feed the Pond Fish! Froggy should be back on soon. And me too.

Do you know how old he is?

  7. Hi Frog, Wog, Wolfie and Ponders. There are some very happy vibes emanating from the Seattle area. Wouldn't it be great to find out why cats do the things they do? Especially if they came as rescue cats. Our Peanut is so sweet and affectionate but do not try to pick her up. I wonder if she was treated roughly at her last home. Wolfie is a darling boy. He will make himself at home real soon.

I am in eastern Washington this week. It was crazy around here this morning getting the four oldest girls ready for camp. Now things have quieted down and I can resume my role as Alice (you know the Brady Bunch.)

  8. I'm here hon! What will be funny is hearing about Froggy coughing up fur balls because Wolfie is sleeping on her head during the night. I am so happy for both of you! We will need our daily fix of cat stories. Love to all!

  9. Wolfie! What a wonderful name! It's a shame he was abused. What a blessing you two will be for him. It's nice to know he can live the rest of his life being LOVED.

    Smooches to all my Ponders!
