Good Morning, Pond Friends!

  1. How is everyone? Our weather's been real nice. I've switched to Swedish Hospital--they have a supposed pain center I'm at. 'Woggy, with her ususal sense of humor, has already gotten me a big box of crayons for all the busy work (biofeedback, integrative medicine, relaxation etc.) that I'm going to be run through. Might as well color... I should've just just been a junkie. At least they get help.

I have a blister on my entire leftheel; I'm afraid they're going to chop off my foot, so I cry a lot. I may be meeting God sooner than I ever expected. Please pray for me. And thank you so for being my friends.

  2. Froggie; I am so sorry you are going through this! Yes, I'll definitely keep you in my prayers, and you know your other pond friends will too. I'm glad Swedish has a good pain center, and you've got 'Wog there as your #1 advocate. Please remember how much you are loved and needed in this world!

Sending prayers and love your way!

    1. Thanks for writing, Paget. We are a little bit stunned at our house. Not sure what to do next.

  3. Good morning, Froggy. So glag you were able to post a picture and let us know how you are feeling. Sweedish is a good hospital from what I hear. Can they treat the heel blister too? Does that have to do with your diabetes? I am so sorry that you are having to go through this. Paget is right, you are loved and needed here at the Pond and in this world. I pray that you would feel the power of God's love for you and the evidence of His loving kindness. I am praying for His healing and His provision.

    1. Yes, they have a wound center across the hall from the pain center. I'm already signed up.

  4. Oh Froggy, I love your sense of humor throughout everything. An addict! You'd have a different outlook on things, that's for sure!

You definitely have my prayers and you know how much you're loved by us all. We're here because of you.

The cats have been extremely loud this morning, I'm not quite awake. A couple of days ago, they were making a lot of noise because there was an earthquake. It was small and we didn't get up. A few hours later, there was another one that they didn't bother waking us for.

    1. Group Health has openly called me an addict--I wasn't joking. That's one reason why I switched. I just want my pain treated--I don't care if they use castor oil, if it works. They don't seem to understand that. We have a loud cat now, too!

  5. Froggy, I don't want to sound trite however, we all hurt knowing you are in pain with little recourse. We truly love you. I have missed you terribly.

  6. My dear, dear Froggy. I love you with all my heart and can't imagine what you are going through. I pray that God comfort you, give you strength, cause your pain to be eased, and heal you.

You have been a blessing to all of us, and I bet you've been a blessing to so many others during your life. We join together in prayer for you. And I don't need to remind you how gnarly this bunch of Ponders you brought together are!

We also join together to pray for WOG. Hang in there, sister.

    We love you both!

  7. Well then, I'm an addict, too. I believe in taking the medication BEFORE the pain gets to be too much.
