  3. Froggy,
You did so well today. I am proud of you!
That's why you are the big frog, and I'm a little 'wog.

  4. And...
my teacher did not count me absent. she said because I work so hard.

  5. Quick check-in. All is well here. My dad got through the procedure with ease and the best news of all is that there is NO cancer. That's the main thing. He's recovering with a little pain, but nothing he can't handle. I'm trying to make him eat because he's lost weight and feels weak. Baby steps here, too.

Froggy, you're in my prayers (especially your hands and feet). Hang in there! 'Wog, your teacher sounds smarter than most. I'm glad you didn't get counted absent.

Love to you all and I'll check in again when I can.

    2. I'm so glad about your Dad. And, yes, tell him to force himself to eat often--he doesn't want a fall--and to drink sufficient water.

  6. Great news all around today! Froggy's foot is healing nicely, Eva's dad doesn't have cancer, and Wog's teacher didn't count her absent!

See? Our prayers and love for each other are POWERFUL. And we're gonna keep on with love and prayers.

MORE GOOD NEWS: I have a relationship with the girl in charge of accounts payable for one of our biggest customers. Had to call her today because they've fallen way behind in paying our invoices. She apologized profusely, and told me she's been gone for 6 weeks because she had her first baby. Happy Birthday to baby boy Grayson!

  8. Hi everyone. Got back from eastern Washington a few hours ago. When I am there I am out of touch since getting on the computer is not easy. I can't believe what has been going on in my absence.

Froggy, you are certainly in my prayers. I am glad to hear that your heel is healing and I can certainly understand your fears about that. I will be praying for your appt on Friday and that God would grant you His peace and favor in that situation.

We had my husband's brother visit for a week beside everything else that has been going on with the Grands. BIL is a diabetic. Seeing what he goes through to keep his insulin level right has had an effect on my husband. Scott has been having trouble with his vision blurring. BIL let him know that is one of the things that happens to diabetics. In my absence Scott has been studying up on the proper diet. He is already making changes in his diet. Yea! This will make it easier on me when it comes to preparing meals.

  10. Yep. It's Thursday!
Hi Gloria.. Scott will be fine for a long time if he monitors everything. Exercise is good to add to list. It doesn't have to be strenuous...maybe a walk everyday. Sugar also means carbohydrates )which is one of my favorite foods.) The rest you know. Check his feet once a week. Sometimes diabetics lose feeling in the feet, and don't know if they have hurt places.

Hi Phooey. Always good to hear from you.
