  1. Looks like I'm the 1st Ponder to get going this AM.

I'm trying to keep the faith and shake this feeling of doom regarding Karen. We've talked about the seriousness of her upcoming surgery, talked about our faith. We had dinner Friday night and put all serious talk aside. We remembered stuff we've been through together since we were kids, laughed until we cried. It was a joyous occasion.

Please pray for Karen and her surgeons.

    1. Dear Surfie, It's good that you and Karen had a special time together. We can be thankful that the tumor is benign, and keep praying for a successful surgery. What day is her surgery? Please, come to us anytime. We'll be there for you and for Karen.

    2. It's so hard to not be fearful, no matter how strong one's faith. It's a serious surgery and facing the unknown is just that... unknown. We'll all be praying and we've all seen the power of prayer.

  2. Phooey, I saw an NCIS on TV this morning, and I thought of you. Are you watching football -Jets at Miami?

Haven't seen Froggy yet. We were both up at 4am, talked, and went back to bed.

  3. Hi, Surfie--and yes, I am praying for Karen. IS her tumor benign? I hope so--and that it's not in a dangerous area. How old is Karen? How are you holding up? She's lucky to have a friend like you!

'Woggy's run to the store... I'm trying to catch the Oakland game; Seattle doesn't play until tomorrow and we're out of the Bronco game--which would be my first choice.

Phoo, did you get some rest?
