  1. Good Morning Phooey... How are ya doing today? We are waiting for football.

  2. Morning, everyone. Yesterday was a big college football day and my Georgia Bulldogs had a great game! Next Saturday they play Alabama for the SEC title. If they win, they'll play Notre Dame for the national championship. If they lose, Alabama will play Notre Dame and Georgia will get another BCS game. No matter the outcome, I'm proud of them.

Now onto pro ball! Hope everyone is feeling good, especially Surfie.

  3. Hi everyone. Think I'm going to live. Still a bit wobbly, still taking it easy. Next week is going to be a brutal one at work. I HAVE to be there.

Between naps and emergency runs to the bathroom yesterday, I opened the one little Christmas box that I moved from SoCal to OKC last year. My favorite ornament is a tennis ball that hubby and the boy turned into Wilson (the basketball from the Tom Hanks movie Castaway). That was the last Christmas we had so much fun together, before hubs got sick. I know when the boy walks in the door and sees wilson, he will grin from ear to ear.

Back on the couch for now.

  4. God just gave me a little pick-me-up. Remember the puppies I told you about that ran up into my patio? They just came for another visit. Daisy and Tank are black lab mixes, Ice is a Husky mix, Pearl is a Weimeraner, Snowflake is a little white furball. I saw them out there and had to go out on the patio. They are all small enough to squeeze through the railing. I'm covered in puppy slobber. Very happy.

    2. Meant to say that I hope you will be well enough to be at work tommorrow.

Could you send me Pearl in a box? It is such a wonderful idea to get a puppy (or a kitten) at Christmas. One year my Mom gave me a daschund puppy that I named Baxter. Baxter was a pistol. In reality I don't think I have the energy to devote to training a puppy.

  6. Hope everyone has a good Sunday doing what ever you like doing. I sure would like to find another church that is close to me. I just don't hear of any. It is hard to start all over again. Right now I watch on my computer.

Today I am making turkey broth for soup. May begin some knitting.

  7. Nothing feels so awkward as being in a place where you don't feel right, so hang in there. Something will present itself. Besides, Gloria, I know G-d is with you wherever you are (including at home in front of the computer!)
