  2. I think the heat affects my internet connection. When it gets as hot as it has been lately, it goes down. I don't know whether it's a scientific conclusion, but that's when I notice it. Today we've cooled down quite a bit. It's only going to be in the low 90's.

Paget, I'm worried about your eyes. It may indeed be true that you have to wait longer to heal. The older I get, the longer I take to heal anything. I just hope that's the reason and not that the surgery screwed something up. One of my big fears is to no longer be able to read the way I do now.

Good for you and putting your foot down, Surfie! I know you love your job, but even the best people will take advantage of your time if you don't set limits. I had that problem when I was working full time. I got used to it. You don't want to do that because then people will expect it.

Puffin and Bambu are both stretched out and upside down in front of a fan. Oh to be able to relax so completely (and be so cute at the same time. If I could relax like that, I'd probably have my mouth open and be snoring. Very un-cute!)

    1. Hi Eva, I appreciate your concern. :) It could be that I'm just impatient. Even so, if I don't see some improvement soon, I'll find another doctor.

    2. Youre cats are funny. :) I have been blessed with a kitty who faithfully uses his catbox, and never scratches the furniture! However, Chance has his moments. He reminds me of the picture of the cat with the caption; "I want to pet you, but I kind of want to bite you too!"

    3. Oops! I meant to say - "I want you to pet me, but I kind of want to bite you too". (I think I'll go now...)

    4. I kind of liked the first one better, but it works both ways :)

  3. Sheesh! I get the internet working and the printer goes offline. I've spent hours trying to figure out how to get it to go back online. Finally, I gave up and removed it. Then I reinstalled it. Now it prints. I just wish I knew what happened to make it go offline in the first place, but I guess it doesn't matter so long as it's working again.
