  1. Hi frogfans! Today is the first day of summer--it's cold and raining, of course--ha! I finally got ahold of my doctor and she has upped my anti-depressant. I felt better after the first dose. Thank you for standing with me. I felt your prayers and they mean a lot to me.

Eva, I am so sorry about your sister. I don't know what to say--you all must feel betrayed to some degree and so sad for her. She has my prayers for sure and I hope things get better for her, somehow.

Gloria, did you have you procedure and how did it go? 'Woggy had the same thing done several years ago.

How's my Phoo? What's your weather like, folks?

  2. Hi Froggy! Oh Sweetie, if you only knew how good it is for me to know that you are feeling better. We are having our cool and rainy weather and Anchorage has been having days of 80 degrees.

Eva, isn't it amazing how much stuff we can accumulate over a few years? Dealing with packing will keep your mind busy. I feel bad about what happened with your sister. I don't understand how some total looser men can gain such control over vulnerable women.

Frog, I did the dreaded procedure a few weeks ago now I am going in for a minor surgery to remove something that shouldn't be there. Monday early.

  3. Yeah, Froggy!! I'm so glad you got hold of your doctor. Things will definitely start picking up now.

It's a gorgeous day here. I love waking up to abundant sunshine. The only problem is that the cats wake up earlier and start meowing incessantly. If that doesn't rouse us, Puffin drapes himself over my face and starts purring. It's cute and suffocating at the same time, but it achieves his purpose. Bambu looks at me with liquid eyes and snuffles. I wonder if his allergies will go away once we live in New Jersey.

It surprises me to realize that the whole drama with my sister has just been 2 months long. That's not very long. I guess because it was so intense a time, it feels longer. Gloria, I don't understand it either.

  4. Hello deer pond friends!

Froggy, I’m so glad to hear that you’re feeling better! That makes my day!

You asked about the weather – It is cold over here in the deserty part of WA state! I don’t remember a colder, wetter, spring in the 46 years that we’ve been here. I’m hoping for nice weather by next weekend, as baby Kaden (and parents) is coming over to visit! We’re having a big barbecue, and 30 close family and friends are planning to attend.

Gloria, I’ll be thinking about you Monday and praying that your surgery is a success.

Eva, it must be bittersweet to leave California. How long have you lived there? No one can deny that it’s a beautiful state, with great weather, but the crazy liberal politics would drive a person crazy! I’m sure your dad and other relatives are thrilled that you will be returning to New Jersey. I’ll keep your family in my prayers. I know your sister’s decision is causing such pain. I pray that she will be safe.

Wog, where are you today? Are you out shopping? Stay dry over there!

Have a great weekend deer friends!

    Love to you all.

  5. Froggy, it makes our hearts sing to hear you sounding like yourself again. Today was pretty good because its TGIF, but reading your post just made my day outstanding!

Gloria, we are all holding you in our prayer circle until Monday's procedure is over. Can't wait until all the medical stuff is over for you.

Eva, I don't understand the deal with your sister, either. Rest well knowing that you and your family went all-out to help her. Enjoy that glorious weather and throw your energy into your and Joe's big move.

Happy TGIF and 1st day of Summer! It was in the high 90's today, beautiful puffy clouds in the sky. I'm loving summer right now but will probably start complaining if we get into 100+ weather for weeks on end.

I need to work this weekend but decided NO. Along with my regular stuff like paying bills, doing laundry, cleaning house ... I'm getting a hair-cut tomorrow, playing around in my little patio garden, painting the old table I found to go with my "new" vintage patio chairs, shopping for a b'day present for my friend Karen's granddaughter. As usual, I won't get everything done but I'll have fun trying!

Have a great weekend deer friends. See you tomorrow!

PS: Hope Wog and Phooey are OK. How are you two?

  6. Hi Gloria, Eva, Paget, Surfie...
The 'WOG is fine. Actually I didn't do much today. Kept falling asleep on the sofa. Did some chores...dishes, trash. Went downstairs to apartment summer "picnic." Hot dogs and hamburgers on grill. Was nice to visit with neighbors. Met a couple new people.

    Will see everyone this weekend.
