I use Zonealarm( firewall ), AVG( Anti-virus ), CCleaner( deleting useless junk ) and rarely a few others. They work for me. Hope you feel better Froggy. Prayers continue.
Sorry to check in a little late today. I had a bunch of things to take care of. The washing machine started leaking and making strange noises. Appliance repair guy showing up tomorrow. Just as well because I already put servicing all the appliances on my list of things to do before we put the place on the market (or before we lease it, which we're considering again). Joe is being given a farewell luncheon tomorrow by some of his fellow teachers, so I'll hang out at home and wait for the repair guy. You know how they give a window of time they plan to show up in. Fun, fun!
Oh My! I finally got on The Pond after fooling around with the computer all day. Froggy restored the computer yesterday, and saved me a trip to the computer repair place. She is amazing!
Then I had to put everything back in my favorites and desktop. But, alas, I couldn't log onto The Pond. Google is my friend. I clicked a "fix-it-for-me" link. and voila, I'm here.
So glad to be back. I missed everyone. I couldn't even read any posts.
'Woggy's computer had a bad bug in it. We got it fixed, but now she's having trouble getting on the Pond. She'll try and sort it out today.
