  1. Goodnight Lil Froggys, Wear your green when you get up, or you'll get a pinch.

  2. I tried to get on yesterday and say something about this little guy in the pic with his St. Pats colors, but I couldn't get on at all. It was weird!

I'm almost positive we've finally gotten a new place to live. We've been verbally told it's ours by the owner's real estate agent, but I've got to see the signed lease with my own eyes before I'll believe our search is finally over. It sure is/will be a relief!!!!!

How about that Bibi? G-d bless him. He took a big chance, but it worked. I admit that some of my happiness comes from Obama's disappointment. He & his people tried very, very hard to get rid of Bibi and it didn't work.

    1. Hi Deer Eva, so very glad that the new house is almost yours. Another worry off your mind.

Yes, it was a joy to know that Obama and Kerry would be storming and fuming and pouting around their offices because Bibi won. I'm also glad he won because he knows how to stand up to our little president. In his speech, he said things that the pres can't refute! Like America and Israel are best friends, and Iran is the enemy. What could the pres or Kerry say after that wonderful speech. What could pres say to "America and Israel are best friends"? Could he publicly say,"Know we're not!"
      Suck it up, mr. president!

Oops. Don't put away your snow shovel. Here it comes again!

  3. Good morning, Deers! Spring officially arrived on Friday. I talked about this before, but must say again that I've never seen seasons change in ONE DAY like it did this year. The day a couple of weeks ago when we had horrible ice and snow turned into Spring after lunch-time. The pear and redbud trees started blooming the very next day. Also, the very next day, crocus and daffodils came up in yards. Yay! Spring is here!

WOG, love what you wrote about Obama and Kerry stomping their feet like children after Bibi's magnificent speech and big election win. While I love what happened, it also scares me that so many people in power in the USA are so set on destroying Israel. I wonder why the wealthy and powerful Jewish population in our country are not speaking up in support of Israel. Really, I don't understand it.

    I. Love. My. Job. Even during a downturn in the oil & gas industry, we are growing by leaps and bounds because our customer base is so diversified. This might not make sense, but it has been both stressful and fun at the same time. Our company is on the edge of moving from a successful small business to becoming a new regional powerhouse. I'm spending a great deal of time this weekend writing policies & procedures because we are being looked at by several big companies to be their go-to provider of hydraulic services. We need to have policies & procedures on paper and presented in a classy, "we really know what we are doing" way.

We really do know what we are doing, and we really are the BEST at what we do. We just need to get this all down, both on paper and via a classy website, in a month! There must be something wrong with me because I love a challenge like this. I. Love. My. Job.

Love you Deers. How are all Deers doing?

    1. Deer Surfie, your job and your life are too exciting. So much happening so fast. I love the line you wrote in last paragraph. Can you use it in your advertising? "We really do know what we are doing, and we really are the BEST at what we do." Need to copyright it or trademark it.

I know what you mean about changing seasons. Well maybe it's not quite the dramatic change that all of you have had. It's been decent around Seattle lately, but today I went downtown on bus. It was cold and windy and rainy. I was so cold by the time I got home. Now the sun is out.

Several trees outside our building have already flowered. Now they are dropping flower petals all over the sidewalks and on top of the other plants. Big mess. Time for the leaf-blower people to come and save us.

  4. Life is truly a roller coaster. We did get the house and no sooner did the deal get finalized than Bambu stopped eating. Joe & I went into a downward spiral. We took him to the vet on Wednesday afternoon and she gave him a shot to stimulate his appetite and took some blood. He had lost weight and was looking very frail. Thursday and Friday were nightmares as we tried to interest him in food, cried, held him and prayed. Lo and behold, he started eating this morning! I can't get my hopes up too much. After all, he is a few months past 19 years. The vet said if he didn't eat for 4 days, it would start to affect his liver. Maybe he just wasn't feeling well before and now he's better. I won't know for sure until I see if he continues to eat. Please say a little prayer and just hope that whatever happens is His will.

    1. Eva and Joe, So sorry to hear about Bambu. We all love our pets. They are our family and live in our hearts. Sometimes Froggy and I talk about our kitties and about my sweet little dog named Scooter. One of our cats used to pick on Scooter. Kitty would sneak up on him and smack him in the nose. Our oldest cat was 18. I can't talk very long about them because I start missing them too much. Prayers to you and Joe and sweet Baby Bambu.
