We are fully in our new home, surrounded by boxes. Bambu seems to be adjusting. I just got sick yesterday, so all my ambitious plans for the weekend are blown to hell. Maybe I can salvage Sunday if I stay in bed today and tomorrow. No chance of doing anything else. I feel miserable.
Deer Eva, Sis and I send prayers and smoochies for your recovery. Maybe you just need to rest. Everything will be fine. You have been under so much stress lately. Bambu and Joe will take care of you.
Froggy and WOG, this picture brought me to my knees. Perfect picture. I will NEVER forget.
Just as the "civilized world" knew and ignored the slaughter of Jews back then, the "civilized world" knows and is ignoring the slaughter of Christians in today's world. Sometimes, knowing history and what is going on now wears me out.
So, I will shake the dust off my feet and motor on in my life. Caterpillar spent 4 hours with us. It was intense, we were totally ready. Now, we wait to see what part of the contract we are awarded.
I have to work Saturday morning to get caught up on my regular work that had to be put on the back burner while getting ready for Caterpillar. It is time-sensitive stuff and must be done right away.
Please forgive me for being so self-indulged. I've read everyone's posts and am cheering everyone on in my heart and daily prayers. Love you all, Deer Ponders!
Hi Surfie, guess people just get busy. Been kind of quiet at Froggy's house too. I did dishes, and brought home food to cook. Then I don't want to cook it. Maybe I'll cook tomorrow. I bought hamburger and salsa for tacos, and cube steaks that I like to dip in flour and fry. Froggy may get stuck with soup and a sandwich this evening, or maybe something from MacDonalds. I also found a recipe online for Green Chili Casserole. I used to make it, but didn't remember the ingredients. Really pretty easy. This is something that I'll get to eat the whole thing. Froggy doesn't like some of my cooking.
I'll put up a new picture tonight, and get some political articles posted. It's getting pretty interesting out there. I'm scared to death to get another Dem as president. This country needs a break from all their stupidity.
