  1. Should old frogs be forgot,
    and never brought to mind?
    Should old frogs be forgot,
    and old lang syne?

For auld lang syne, my dears,
    for auld lang syne,
we'll take a cup of kindness yet,
    for auld lang syne.

I love you froggies more than I could ever express !
A Happy and Blessed New Year to each and every one !

    1. Deer Phooey, your song was wonderful. It's funny how well "frogs" fit in anywhere. Love to you, Phooey, and to Miss Page. It's going to be a wonderfully Froggy year....2016.

  2. Happy New Year to my Pond family. May each of our households be blessed throughout the new year.

Phooey, I looked up the meaning of the phrase auld land syne and roughly translated from the original Scottish means times gone by.

Our EC has requested prayer for her DH Kurt. He is away from home on a long delivery and has had his truck diverted, the roads and weather are scarry. EC is hoping to have him home safe and sound before her eye surgery on the 11th.

    1. Hi Gloria...Happy New Year 2016 to you and your wonderful family. Are you staying warm up there? We have the heat on but it still seems cold. Froggy went back to bed. She has a heat-blanket. And I have had on bathrobe all day, and warm socks on my frog-hopping feet.

Did you see the fireworks at the Space Needle? Froggy just couldn't stay awake. I took a nap but woke up just in time to watch on TV. Was impressed with the show. It was worth staying up for.

Goodbye 2015. The New Year 2016 is going to be exciting and amazing.

  5. Oh My Gosh...Froggy went for a nap, and I said that I would cook dinner. Half is good and half is destroyed.

I dipped the cube steaks in flour and fried them. Those came out tasty. Then I thought I'd steam some cabbage. I left the pot on high, burned up the pan, and smoked up the house. No cabbage for dinner. It must be the simplest thing to cook on the planet...beside pouring milk on a bowl of corn flakes.

Fortunately Froggy slept through it all. Though she will be disappointed that there is no cabbage for dinner.

  6. Happy New Year, ya'll! Phooey, you're moving so won't see this soon, but I LOVE the above. EC, you and your DH are in my thoughts and prayers.

We had a wonderful week in Georgia. I'm in love with my new Great niece (no surprise). She's a little doll and Isaac & Nathaniel give her kisses often.

What I truly loved was seeing how Isaac and Nathaniel responded to Joe. They are 5 and 2 years old and it has been a year since Joe was there. I thought they'd be a little shy or cautious, but they must have some memory beyond their Mom mentioning him because they went right to him. Joe was so touched.

The family is well and healthy and the weather was in the mid to high 60's for our whole visit. Aside from some torrential rains, it was a lovely visit.

More soon. Going up to Yonkers this weekend to celebrate Joe's parents' 70th wedding anniversary. Amazing!
