  1. Froggy picked this picture. She likes Number Four! I'm pickin' Number One. Let the race begin! Or maybe it's already over.

    1. I'm picking No.3 to be near Froggy and being her right-hand(paw) man.

    2. I like that silver model on the end. #7 matches my hair. Who wouldn't like a job posing cats and taking pictures?

  2. I set up new computer this evening. Don't like it, but guess I'm stuck with it til it dies. Froggy tried it about eight months ago. Disliked it so much that we put it back in the box, and put the old computer back. So when my computer died a couple weeks ago, I inherited the computer in the box on the floor. Wish I could put it back in the box on the floor!

    1. Hi Frogs. Once you get used to your new computer you will be fine. We had to replace Scotts computer a while back too. His is not a touch screen which is better for him. Then this week we replaced his printer. It took all day but he is now up and running and a happy camper. Steve showed him how to take pics with his phone and transfer them to his computer. He sold a truck on Craigs list and is now selling sports cards again on ebay.

    2. Gloria, I forgot that you sold stuff on eBay. I stopped doing it a couple years ago. Was just too much trouble, and I didn't make much money.

I am still trying to get used to new computer. I get too many pop-ups. Do you know any programs to stop pop-ups? I am not at "the-happy-camper" stage yet. I wait til Froggy takes a nap and then use her computer.

    3. Morning, Wog. A few months ago I finally installed Adblock. It was easy for me to install and free. Took cake of pop ups. We have Comcast so we use Norton Security. Did you get Windows10 on your new computer?

Scott is selling on Ebay but I gave up on it. I am a terrible typist and it takes me to long to do listings. Val is really good at it and so is Scott.

  3. Just got back from my trip to Georgia. I was there 2 whole weeks and guess what? My niece went into labor the day I left. How's that for timing? I couldn't be more disappointed, but a beautiful baby girl made her debut just after midnight. Mother & Father are doing fine. Great-Grandpa is crying many happy tears. Isaac fell in love and made her a birthday card, kissed her and told her he was her big brother and she was his girl. Nathaniel? Well, Nikki says Nathaniel was mildly impressed.

Gotta catch up with everything, but I've read a little of what everyone has written. All I can say is Surfie, holy moly! What a cool cat your son is.

Love to you all and I'll be back soon.

  4. Haven't heard from Surfie in a while. I recall she had mentioned going to NYC for Christmas with her son.

  5. Good morning! I've been catching up reading everyone's posts. It is so great to hear from everyone. Deer Froggie, are you feeling better?

I've spent nearly every evening on the phone with my son since he got mugged. That event was a blessing in disguise because it made him really think about what's important in life. My heart is singing! Long story short, he is working 12 hour days during Christmas and New Year. If I went to NYC during the holidays, we wouldn't be able to spend time together. SO, I'm going to NYC for his birthday in March and will meet his girlfriend's (Lisa) parents. Mike and Lisa are coming to OKC in July for our family reunion so Lisa can meet our family. Lisa and my niece Rachel are about the same age, so our plan is for Rachel to go shopping or whatever with Lisa long enough for Mike and I to get an engagement ring made. Color me happy!

We had our office Christmas party on Friday. The economy here is scary bad, so no Christmas bonuses. The family who owns our company personally decorated our conference room with Christmas lights, piped in Christmas music, had the best BBQ restaurant cater a meal. They gave everyone a Christmas ornament, and one of the owner's wife wrote a personal Thank You note to every one of us. It was so personal, and they did all the work themselves. Made me cry tears of joy. I love my job again!

All of our big customers are closed next week, so we are also closed. Everyone gets a paid week off. Yay! I do have to go into work Monday for a couple of hours to process payroll. Still, we have a whole week off and get paid without having to use our paid-time-off hours!

My plumbing backed up last Sunday. It took until Wednesday to get everything in this beautiful old 1935 bungalow fixed. My landlord took the time to take care of it in the right way.

All in all, it has been a bumpy ride lately, but everything worked out just fine! Thank You, Lord!

    P.S. I talk too much.
P.S.S. Every time Eva tells us about Nathan it reminds me of the power of prayer and makes me so very happy. Rock on, little man!

    1. Hi Surfie, so glad to hear from you about good news and bad news. Hope you get some days off around Christmas and New Years. Do you think it was the right decision to stay with your company? Sounds like the owners will make a good effort to stay afloat.

    2. Hi Wog! Yes, I think staying was the right decision. The family that owns our company has been very good to me, so I'm all in to do whatever I can to help get us through this economic collapse.
