    1. EC, we are so happy for you. Getting any kind of procedure done is scary. As long as you are mending, your Pond Family is hopping happy!

    1. Good Morning Eva, I'm supposed to be getting ready for work but here I am at The Pond. Seems that our EC is doing well. Now we need to hear from the Great Phooey about his move.

Are you getting snow. Heard on news that New York got 6 inches of snow in an hour. That's a lot of snow! Our Seattle rain returned last night. So today, for me, it will be raincoat and boots.

    2. Some compilations, seems the cataract was so thick, it is going to take awhile fow selling to come down, so right know it is like looking through 2 layers of wax paper. Saw Dr today and he gave me more meds

    3. EC, that's the best description of what you're going through that I've ever heard. 2 layers of wax paper. As someone who has had lousy eyesight for quite awhile, it gives me such a clear (sorry) picture of how it feels to you. Without my glasses or contacts, everything has a haze.

    4. Hello EC, I hope you're feeling better by now! I really sympathize. I had cataract surgery 10 years ago, but mine were small and easy to correct. I can imagine that you'll enjoy a nice clear world once you are feeling better! Prayers for a speedy recovery!

  3. No snow, 'Wog, but some really cold temps. This has been such a moderate winter so far. Last year, our first snow came on Thanksgiving Day. Now we're at mid-January and today's high is supposed to be 49. Yesterday's high was 31. I guess through the end of March anything can happen, but so far so good.

  5. Hello pond friends! I'm escaping to the den to get as far from the TV as possible. My Seahawks are losing terribly to the Panthers, and it is torture to watch the game. I can tell how they're doing by my hubby's shouts from the living room... :(

Gloria, I enjoyed the picture or your precious Celeste! Looking forward to seeing pictures of Eva's sweethearts too. :) I just sent a picture of my grandsons to Wog.

Wow, Seahawks finally made a touchdown, so at least we won't be skunked!

Wog and Froggy, how are you? Today is a foggy, rainy day. It reminds me of growing up in Seattle. :)

Phooey; I'm sorry but I didn't know you were moving...I need to pay more attention! Are you staying in Florida?

Hubby is no longer working, so I'm looking for ways to be more frugal. Any suggestions? I've seen ideas before from Gloria and Surfie, and I know that you frog friends are very wise and resourceful! :)

My goal this week is to de-clutter my den. It's been a catch-all for things for way too long. I'm making great strides, but there's still a lot to do. I better get back to my task. :)

Love to all you deer friends from Paget.

    1. Howdy Paget...Yes, we watched the Seahawks. Was a relief when we made a touchdown. Ending the season with a big fat ZERO would have been disheartening!

Your Hubby is home...you'll have to find ways to keep him busy. What does he like to do?

The Great 'WOG will attempt to put up pic of your Grandsons. Might take me a couple of tries.

  6. Watched the Seahawks game today. Did the Frog sisters watch it? I was so sure they would turn it around in the second half. Watching them loose was hard. Oh well, it's just like gardening - there is always next year. I think Downton Abbey starts tonight. I love that show.

Paget, I have been trying to go through closets and drawers for a year now. I finally had Val come over and go through my closet. It took her 10 minutes and the job was done. 3 piles - save, trash, Goodwill.

Celeste wants me to come over for Ground Hog's Day because it is a very important holiday don'tcha know. I checked my calendar and found it is Feb 2, the day right after Feburary Fool's Day. HA HA.

Does anyone have a life as boring as mine?

    1. Froggy watched the Seahawks...and I fussed about the score until they made a touchdown. I didn't want them to look too bad in their last game. Time to concentrate on playoffs next weekend and then the Super Bowl. Froggy thinks that New England Patriots will go to the Super Bowl.

  7. Whew ! Glad that move is over! It's so good to see everyone is here. I know we don't say it however it's true, we all worry when one of us goes missing. Most everything is unboxed and put away yet there's little messes here and there. Wog, how are you and Froggy ? Deepest love to all !

    1. Whoopee! Our Phooey is back. Wish we could all have helped you with your move. We'd have had sooo much fun. The Pond isn't the same when we are missing one of our Deer Friends.

  8. Joe & I just got back from seeing "13 Hours". Oh. My. G-d. I'm so grateful this got made (and a little amazed that it did). You should have heard the comments afterwards while we were leaving. The nicest one was a man telling his wife "I wouldn't vote for that b*tch, no way, no how". I can't imagine how anyone could vote for her after seeing this film. I'm ordering the book right now.

By-the-way, 'Wog, we did get our first snow yesterday. It's freezing out and they say a nor'easter is on the way this weekend.

    2. I didn't want to see any movie about Benghazi. But after you said that it was so good, I think that I do need to see it. Sometimes it so hard to keep up with the world and the changes.
