Hikergal, So glad to hear that our Sweet Baby Kaniah is doing so well.

Gloria, your midget story is wonderful. I can appreciate not wearing regular clothes. Don't want to give 'em up, but for some unmentionable reason.. they don't fit anymore.

  11. Oh you guys. Sometimes written words don't come out the same as spoken words. I had writers remorse.

  13. Really good news about Kaniah. The improvements that have been made in burn treatment are amazing.

So glad that Surfie is on her way.

On Sunday I learned that three of my friends are facing some serious health issues. One friend who was healed of Myeloma (Lukemia) years ago has been having some bad symptoms. She is going in for a bone marrow test today. I learned this from her daughter. Another young woman (mid thirties) will be having a double mastectomy. She has four boys. The youngest is not yet one year. Third friend whose Mom died from a bone cancer last year has been having similar symptoms and is going in for a bone marrow test this week. It is just too much. Val told me about two and I found out about my friend from her daughter. It just seems like there is so much to pray for. So much. I just want to help and make a difference.

  15. Gloria, you always make a difference! Your quiet words and wonderful kindness and friendship make all the difference in the world. You can be there for them like no other--and you'll have all of us, now, praying for them, too. What's better than frogs and God?!

Seriously, they are happily written on my prayer list now; we'll be there with you. ;-)

(And you can say anything here--you don't have to have 'writer's remorse'!)

I'm offering them up for Surfie's safe trip!

  18. Thank you all so much. Having prayer back up friends is the best. If people only knew - it's like dropping a pebble in a pond. The rings just keep going outward.
    Love ya all. Good night
    Gloria

  19. Of course, your friends have my prayers, Hooly. What a world we live in! So much good and so much sadness and pain. Someone asked (either here or on the Connection) what on earth people who don't believe in G-d do in times of crisis. I can't imagine. How does one live without a belief in G-d? What relief can you have without prayer? It's downright scary and I'm just glad I don't have to live without faith.

Phooey! Try not to tell the doc what you think of him when he's sticking a camera up you. Curse him silently. After all, he's got you in a vulnerable, um, position!

I'm as happy as I can be to hear Kaniah is healing so fast. Aren't children so amazing? Bless them.
