Good Morning, Pond People!

  1. Gorgeous picture once again! I don't know how you come up with the best ones day after day, Froggy.

I'm a little slow this morning myself. Yesterday was Boomer's first full day in his new (smaller) room. He's adjusting, but I keep running everytime I hear him yell. I figure since he's deaf, he doesn't know whether anyone hears him. I can at least show him that I do. The trouble is when it happens at night. Usually my husband is the best about getting up. He must have been exhausted himself yesterday, though, because at 3am, Boomer's yelling his head off. I went to him while my husband, Bambu & Puffin stayed sound asleep in the nice warm bed!

  2. I make most of the graphics here, hon--frame, shade, caption--I take 'em to 'paint' so I can match the colors perfectly.

The new frog peeking out from behind my header, I cut it out by hand, designed my own header (it has about 8 parts--I make everything look as nice as possible for you all ;-) Now, drag some more frogs over here--I love folks!

Poor Boomer! Sick kitties make me sad--how old is he?

  3. Boomer turned 20 yrs old on Oct. 7. We're so blessed to have him with us still. I guess he really isn't sick so much as old. I think he still knows us. When we pet him and hold him, he purrs and rubs up against us. His life is so limited now, unfortunately. I just want him to be comfortable and not scared. We'll see what the vet says when we take him in on Friday.

OTOH, Bambu's tests came back showing no cancer or other serious problem. Whew! He may have some heart issues, but the vet said we could do a follow-up EKG in 6 months. For now, he's in the clear. Yay!!

  4. Now I know why your graphics are so incredible! It sounds like a lot of extra work, but it really makes a difference (I think) to the site. It's the difference between a so-so blog and one of quality.

Again, thank you, Froggy, for taking the time to make a place that's so inviting.

  5. You take such good care of your cats, Eva! Poor Boomer--I'll pray for him. My BFF Boris made it to 18, he really did his best, but he started urinating blood so.... I'm so glad about my Bambu (now you're sharing another one!) Tell me how the other ekg comes out!
