Good Night, Ponders!

  1. Froggy, Puffin loves having his own pond. I noticed it this morning and pointed it out to him. We fed the fish together and I didn't let him eat any. You make him feel so special.

So, Joe & I took Boomer to the vet today. She said he probably has a little brain tumor. He's been hanging his head to one side. His eyesight has diminished which is probably why he keeps bumping into things. I showed her pictures of the room we set up for him and she said we did well getting all the obstacles out. We have a barrier in the doorway so he can't get out (he doesn't even try) but Puffin & Bambu can get in. It's sad, but he isn't in pain and his appetite is good and he purrs when we hold him. I don't know how much longer we'll have him, but however long it is, he'll be safe, secure, and loved.

  2. Good evening Froggy and friends,

What a beautiful bouquet! Those colors don't run!!

This is a special day, and I'm so thankful for our veterans! My dad is a WWII vet. He and his brother joined the navy and were proud to fight for our country. I just talked to dad, who is 86, and thanked him again. He was all choked up. He loves our country so much. :) I am so lucky to still have my dad.

God Bless our veterans. We are the land of the free, because of the brave!

  3. Eva,

I think our posts crossed in cyberspace. I'm so sorry about Boomer. :( Our dear pets are so precious to us; it's so hard to let them go. You're a good mom, and your kitty is so lucky to have you.

  4. Oh, Eva--I'm so sorry. Our first baby Munk had a sinus tumor; it sounds like you know what to watch for. If he stops eating, of course, or sags badly on one side and has extreme trouble walking, well.... Kiss him for me; I know how you feel ;-(

Paget, I've missed you! (And where is Hooly???) That was a beautiful letter about your Dad. Tell him thank you for me and 'Wog.

Phooey! You called! Say hi to Ms. Page for me and I'll have the phone on tomorrow and Sun. We just had our elections for crap and the candidates robo-called us into shutting off the phone. My sleep hours don't help. It'll be on this weekend--remember we're 3 hours later than you--I love your accent! You tell your dear wife I'd love to say 'hi'! 'Woggy's awfully shy to use the phone much... 'Nite!
