Let's get this work done,
and head for The Pond for some pondering.

  2. Hi, folks, you nice folks, sorry my report is late, but we had to sign our lease which took the girl forever. Of course they raised our rent...sigh. My foot has healed up another half inch all the way around, so I only have a small patch to go about the size of a penny. They put a silver patch on it--it really is real silver, not colored silver, and it makes it heal fast and keeps infection away. I still chose to have my leg wrapped to my knee because I don't want my ankle to swell (I haven't figured out what causes that) but any stretching of my skin could slow the healing. They call me their 'perfect patient', so that's nice.

What's more troubling is my hands being partially paralyzed. Doc said it was carpal tunnel. I think I'm going to have to get a steroid shot in my wrist when I see my doc on Monday. Not looking forward to it.

    How's everyone and Bambu?

'Woggy is out doing errands again. She's frustrated she can't get more done--wish I could help her.

    2. Yea, Froggy!!! I can't imagine what a frightening ordeal it must have been to have a sore on your heel like that. So now we keep prayers going for your hand. I know that silver is used for healing. I don't understand it but am told it works. We have a cranky old neighbor that insisted that his longevity was because he took colloidal silver everyday. Made it himself. Boiled silver coins. He is now in a nursing home with Alzheimers.

    3. Gloria, you made me nearly laugh my drink out of my nose! True colloidal silver will turn your skin dark gray permanently. Avoid!

    4. Phoo, that would be a waste of a good beer!

  3. So glad to hear about your foot, Froggy! I had carpal tunnel in my right hand when I was pregnant. Does yours hurt? Mine hurt like crazy, I kept getting what felt like electrical buzzes, and I couldn't really use that hand until it went away. If I remember, my doc said there was swelling inside my right arm/hand that was like a rubber band being tightened around the nerves. I hope they can figure out something to help you. Prayers, as always.

  4. Thank you, guys (Phooey, you can almost come over and tickle my toes!) This was frightening--I was scared I was going to lose my foot. I had no idea that they had such advanced ways to heal things...

Surfie, mine hurts sometimes, but mostly I have so much numbness in my first two fingers thumb--it's impossible to do anything like hold a comb, or brush my teeth, or type(!) I wear a brace at night, but it hasn't helped. I try to stay off the computer, but I really have nothing else to do all day--and the wound center wants me to keep off my foot, so...

Is silver a heavy metal like thallium or lead or mercury? I think I'll pass. ;-) Gad, it's hotter than heck here! I'm ready for fall. Anybody going to buy gas at 4 gallons a minimum, per the EPA?
