Happy Monday, Friends!

  1. We just got home from Wound Care--my heel is doing great! Only a tiny little hole to heal up now, yay! Snort is on the couch, 'Woggy is at the bank settling an overdraft, sigh--and I am watching Law and Order. What's on your plate today?

Phooey, are you back with us? Paget, I miss you!

    1. Good news about your foot, Froggy. You must have gotten an early start. Last year I had one of those charges and decided to go to the bank in person and ask them to reverse the charge. The guy told me that they allow reversals once a year for log time customers. He was so nice and didn't have to tell me that. I have been with Wells Fargo going on 30 yrs.

Glad to hear Phoo-man is back. Hope you had a nice relaxing weekend.

Isn't Paget going to be a grandma soon?

      Afternoon Wog, Surfie and EVA.

  3. Hi Phooey...always a good day when you are here!

Momma Frog, I am at school now. Your foot looks so good. Won't be long now until you can kick a football. (segue) Speaking of football, we have a Bronco game on Monday Night Football. It's been a very exciting weekend for football fans!

"Snort" is only sleeping because he had his noon meal.

  4. Ponders, please read Ulsterman. At the end of todays post WHI mentions once again riots if Obama loses. Then at the top of page on Drudge is "New Threats To Riot If Obama Loses." I have been hearing and reading about this for the last year. So there has got to be something to it. Excuse me, I have to go find my tin foil hat.

  5. Hello pond friends,

Froggy, I sure am glad your wound is almost healed! :)

Sorry I haven't checked in lately. I've been busy planning a baby shower for my daughter which will take place on Oct. 27th. The week after that we're going to Hawaii, to celebrate our 40th anniversary, which was actually last May. We've never been very far from home. We've watched friends and family fly off to Hawaii over the years, but it was always just beyond our reach. We either didn't have enough time, or not enough extra money! We thought we'd go for our 40th anniversary this year; then the car broke down; the dishwasher stopped working; etc, so, once again we put off the trip. In the meantime, our daughter decided to "help" us out. ;) She sent an email to our friends and family on facebook (!) saying that they weren't having a party for our 40th anniversary. Instead, they were sending us to Hawaii. Well, she also asked them for donations as a gift for us! When she told me this, I was mortified! Bless her heart! Anyway, they ended up getting a nice amount for us, and my sister is giving us a week at their timeshare in Honolulu. So, we bought the airline tickets, and we're all set! :)

As for tomorrow's debate; I'm a bit anxious. I thought it was so cool that Billy Graham is praying for Mitt Romney!

Gloria, who is Ulsterman? I think I'll read his blog and then it's off to bed.

Good night, and may God bless all of you pond people!

  6. Paget, congratulations! What a wonderful gift. Have a great time!

So much news today. Now Hillary has taken all the responsibility for the Libya debacle. Good grief! Okay, if she's responsible, doesn't it follow that she should resign or that Obama asks for her resignation? After all, this has to do with the first ambassador since 1979 to be assassinated. On the other hand, just how inept does this make the Prez look? How many times now has he said he didn't know about something so it wasn't his fault? He didn't know about Fast & Furious either. Yeah, right.

But if he didn't, who's minding the store?

    Mitt's our only hope.
