  1. We have a busy day ahead--the doctor in the morning for me, so I can get out of jury duty--and, if the apt. manager calls us back, we'll need to go meet with her at 3 p.m. 'Woggy has to go downtown between appt. to get some bank documents that verify our income and assets. This is a lot of walking for me--hope I can do it!

If God be for us, who can be against us?

  2. What a beautiful picture! Every picture of me, my sister & my niece with Santa has us crying. Not sure why, but my niece won't even try with her little one.

Froggy, your story about breaking menorah candles and prying them out of the wrong holder, brings back memories. So many times, I've been traveling during Hanukkah and I have a little travel menorah that takes smaller candles. I've broken them and not had enough to finish the holiday. I've skipped dinner to stay with the menorah in a hotel room to ensure it doesn't burn anything down. I've lit all the candles only to realize afterwards, that I got the count wrong and had one more day to go. Arrgghh!!

Good luck with all the walking today!!

  3. Froggy, I hope all goes well for you today! Prayers from me too! I'm excited for you and Wog about your new residence! :)

Gloria, your grandaughter is such a pretty little girl! Your daughter and family live over here in eastern WA, is that correct? Who knows, we might pass each other on the highway someday; each going in opposite directions to visit our grandchildren. ;) Daughter says we should retire and live over there by her, but not sure if I could handle the ultra-liberal mind set over there. We'll see. I've still got years ahead to work before I can think about retirement.

Eva, that's funny about your Santa memories. :) My kids each have pictures like that too. We also have pictures of them with Chuck E Cheese. Crying. Gee, you'd think we would have gotten a clue!

Talk to you later, pond friends. Hope everyone has a good day!

    Love to all. :)

    1. Paget, I was thinking that we may well pass each other on the road too. Those precious little people change your life forever.

Luke is the oldest of my grands, he is 15 now. I used to say to him "Luke you are a fine boy." Without realizing it I was speaking a blessing over him each time I said it. Now he has grown into a fine young man.

Paget, sow words of blessing. Someday you will see what has grown.
