    1. Hi Phooey, I'm a little late joining in today. Would be silly to wish you a "Good Morning" at bedtime. Hope you had a good day.

  2. Hello Phooey and pond friends,

I'm so sorry to hear about Lisa. I'm praying for her too.

I love the picture that Froggy posted today. It reminds me that the sun always rises, and that God is in charge. Another item that made me optimistic today was an article posted on Lucianne.com. It is: Why So Serious? Is
Conservative Despair Justified? PJ Media, by Andrew Klavan. The whole article is interesting; and the second part gave me hope.

Well, I'm off to work. Prayers for Lisa and all of my deer pond friends.

    I love you all.

    1. Hi Paget, thanks for the heads-up on the Lucianne article. I'll have a read on that one. Anything that looks hopeful is okay for me!

  3. Good morning, all.

Prayers for Lisa. Surfie, please keep us informed.

I'm wondering if my prayer lists always became longer at the beginning of years past, or if it's just this year. Maybe it's just age. I'm older. The people I know and love are older. On the other hand, maybe it's because my circle of friends has been getting larger due to the addition of cyber-friends. Whatever the reason, the list is growing.

Beautiful sunny day in SoCal today and it's time to get outside, even if I'm only going out to run errands.

    Love to you all!

    1. Eva, enjoy your nice weather. We are having a miserable wet, windy, rainy few days in Pacific Northwest. I went downtown Seattle this afternoon, and stood at the bus stop, dripping from the rain, wondering why I was out there.

  4. Love the picture. It's always darkest before the dawn. Still waiting on a Lisa update. Thank you all for your prayers. You know what? I can actually feel them. What a wonderful family we have here.

Big rain is supposed to roll in tonight and rain all day tomorrow. We really need some rain here. I live at Lake Hefner, a major water supply for the city. The water level is scary low. Plus, I have a brand new pair of cute rubber boots!

    Love you deer friends.

    1. Surfie, Hope that you get your rain. It is scary when the water levels drop. What kind of rubber boots do you have? I went out today in tennis shoes. What a dummy! Came home with soggy shoes and feet.

We'll be here when you send update on Lisa. It was a real shock to hear about her accident.

  5. NEWS FROM THE NEWS:
    "Just call him Al Gorezeera.

"Monday morning, the still shell shocked staff at Current TV was called to an all hands staff meeting at its San Francisco headquarters, which was teleconferenced to their offices in LA and NYC, to meet their new bosses, The Post reports. That would be two of Al Jazeera’s top guys: Ehab Al Shihabi, executive director of international operations, and Muftah AlSuwaidan, general manager of the London bureau.

". . .The displeasure with Gore among the staff was thick enough to cut with a scimitar.

“We all know now that Al Gore is nothing but a bulls---ter,” said one staffer bluntly. “Al was always lecturing us about green. He kept his word about green all right —as in cold, hard cash!”
