Good morning. When I saw the picture this morning my first thought was that there had been another incident.
Got up this morning expecting to pack up and get ready to leave. No early start for me. We got about 2 inches of snow. I am watching the pass report and hoping that it will melt off. I may be waiting till tomorrow.
Yes, our Uncle Bobbie and Uncle Stan were Marines and we love them best. Sissy lived at Quantico a bit before I was born... We hate to hear of anything happening there.
Have a safe trip Gloria--tell us when you're going to leave.
Very sad about the Marines. At the end of the day, they are human beings with human struggles. RIP to all 3 of them.

We had wonderful weather last week, in the high 70's. Winter has returned for now. The Redbud and Bradford Pear trees are in bloom, and I see tulips and daffodils blooming all over, so Spring is definitely here.
This time last week, I was sick as a dog. Still have pneumonia (doc said it will take at least 2 weeks to completely go away), but I feel pretty good! I'm going to follow her advice to keep taking it easy ... which means I have complete permission to sleep and eat and read all weekend. :)
Hi Surfie, I took a benedryl earlier for allergies, and now I can't stay awake. Would love to see pics of your beautiful trees in bloom. Can't keep my eyes open. Will be back later this evening.
The Marines have been hit by such tragedy in the past couple of weeks. May G-d bless them all. Semper fi!

I have such respect for our troops and our Marines. This was so hurtful to hear this morning. Froggy put up today's pic for our lost military.
