  1. Oh Goodie, I'm the first Ponder today. After yesterday, today will be diet day. It's still a little early on West Coast so headed back to bed. I'll check the news when I come back; I'm assuming there will still be news when I check.

  2. SARAH PALIN:

"No budget is no leadership," Palin said. "It's time for America to be more outraged about this."

She said America faces challenges "so big" while its leaders are so small.

Palin called Obama a campaigner who makes promises he can't keep and seeks to divide and conquer while orchestrating crisis after crisis to exploit for political gain.

"We don't have leadership coming out of Washington, we have reality television," Palin said.

Palin said everything coming out of Washington, D.C. feels put-on and every event feels calculated to fool Americans.

She blistered the permanent political class for focusing too much on the process of politics instead of the purpose of politics, which is to lead and serve. She resoundingly mocked Obama as a permanent campaigner even though he is not up for reelection anymore.

"Now step away from the Teleprompter, and do your job," Palin said to Obama.

    1. Morning. Hope everyone is either well, or getting better.

Wog we need a a symbol to click on that shows we agree or a happy face. you put so much effort into the news from the news.

Do you notice that people make statements about Obama or his administration that are true and it isn't long before they are forced to apologize or retract their words. Example: "You Lie" - true but Joe whats his name had to retract.

    2. Gloria, I don't know if there is a "like" button on blogger. I just really wanted to put up a couple interesting bits or bites of the news for Ponders to enjoy and think about.

Maybe Froggy noticed that people have to retract statements.I hadn't noticed, but now I will watch for it.

  3. Good morning, all. I took the weekend off, computer-wise. I'm not sure it did any good in any way but I'm trying to find out when I can take it to get tuned up and not miss it. I think a weekend will work okay. All I did was watch movies and work on a puzzle. Joe used the computer, though, so that could still be a problem. I should take it in next week when he is in New York visiting his folks. Probably won't, though. I talk big, but when it comes down to doing something voluntarily, I wimp out. If something breaks and I'm forced to get it fixed, that's when I do it. Sigh.

Surfie, I hope you're feeling better and NOT AT WORK!

  5. Hi all. Hope everyone's feeling well. I'm human again! Working, but taking it real slow, not working overtime, going to sleep around 8 tonight.

Hope all goes well at the doc tomorrow, Phooey.

Wog, love your post about Sarah. I watched her speech (forget if it was Breitbart or Hot Air). I laughed so hard when she took out her big gulp soda! She straight-up called Obama a liar. Best speech ever!

Froggy, has that tree outside your window started blooming yet? Spring is busting out all over here. Love this time of year.

    See everyone later!

    1. Surfie, I saw Sarah take a sip of soda on TV. I'm surprised the government hasn't banned it.

Froggy's desk is right by the window overlooking the trees and birdies...and this morning, a squirrel. There are a few white flowers starting. I was hoping for a pink tree. As long as the birds like it, I'm happy.
