Happy Friday, Froggies!

  1. Well, hello, everyone. 'Woggy's out doing errands, the cat kept us up all night. What's doing?

You cat owners--how often and how much do you feed your cat/cats?

  2. Awwww, how cute is this pic! So sweet.

Froggy, at the age my furballs are, I worry about how skinny they are. I pretty much feed them a can of wet food whenever they want! But, in the beginning with the 3 boys, we'd divide 2 3oz cans between 3 bowls in the morning and again at dinner time. I leave a couple of bowls of dry food (which is now Prescription diet for kidney health) around all the time and add to it as necessary. Of course, I leave plenty of water around.

    1. Shoot, we always have a fat cat problem and can't feed a lot or at will, or leave out dry. Also, Wolfie doesn't drink much water and gets kidney infections, we were told, so we have to feed him a special moisturized wet food with lots of fluid in it. He's always trying to eke out extra meals, so he's on a 5 times a day strict schedule--otherwise he throws up too often if he eats too much at just two feedings a day.

    2. Well, I guess he's not tricked by the 5 feedings. You'd think he'd figure that he was getting a lot of food since it was coming so many times. He's a smartie!

  3. Love that picture. Think it's a gerbil. My son's 3rd pet was a gerbil named Squeaky. 2nd pets were goldfish named Max and Cleo. 1st pet was a rubber mouse named Tobie. I still have Tobie!

Been a long time since I had a cat. Remember feeding her 1 can of wet food a day and leaving bowls of dry food and water out all the time. She was a beautiful orange tabby named Lacie.

TGIF! I'm going to sleep well tonight. Big thunderstorms are rolling. It hasn't started raining yet, but I can smell the rain and hear thunder. No tornadoes, just thunderstorms. Great sleeping weather!

I'm a little peeved at 3 of the shop maintenance guys at work. Today is pay day and they were out sick. I called to see if they were going to work tomorrow (I would leave their checks out), or if there was another employee I could give their paycheck to. They all said no, so I locked their checks up in one of my file cabinets. Just got a call from the owner of the company. All 3 men have decided to work tomorrow, and my boss didn't give the owner his set of keys to my file cabinets, so he couldn't get them out. These men don't make a lot of money and really need their checks, so I'll drive 30 minutes each direction to work tomorrow to give them their paychecks. SERIOUSLY, I work in a reality TV show!

    1. What are the odds of that, Surfie. That all 3 said no they wouldn't be coming in and then all 3 changed their minds. One or even two I could see, but ALL of them? You're a gem to get their checks to them tomorrow! I hope they appreciate you.

    2. My goodness Surfie, it's nice of you to drive back to work on your day off. You did ask the guys before you locked up their checks. I give you gold stars for driving back.

Thanks, for info on cat food. We just aren't sure how much to feed Wolfie. He is a big cat, but we didn't want a fat cat.

  4. Good Evening Ladies. I'm back home. Unpacked the car, watered my poor plants, now ready for bed. Missed you all. Good night.
