Happy Wednesday, Froggies!

  1. 'Woggy is so sick, I am worried about her. She has a horrible hacking cough and looks terrible. We might be off to the docs if she's not better. We can't take any chances at 72.

  2. Please, please don't take chances with our 'Wog. I'm praying for her... and you.

Very busy with a gazillion things now, but I wanted to check in and say hello to everyone and let you know I'm still here. I'll come back when I can.

I definitely want updates on 'Wog. Hang in there.

  3. Extra prayers for Wog from here, too. Wog, please go to the doctor if you can. We love you!

Eva, are you still dealing with your family emergency? Extra prayers for you and your family, too.

Big thunderstorms moving in to OKC. Tornadoes going on in the SW part of the state. I'm prepared as I know how to be. Have my candles, flashlights, radio, laptop charged up, cell phone charged up. Even blew up my big air mattress in case the tornado siren goes off and I have to get in the bathtub with the mattress over me. We'll probably just have rain, strong winds, hail. It was 80 when I left work. 30 minutes later, when I got home, I needed a coat. Warm front and cold front colliding = storms!

We had 8 earthquakes around 4.0 a couple of days ago. Never a dull moment around here.

    Love you, deer Pond family!

  4. Thanks, Surfie, yes I'm still dealing with the family issue. My sister's husband abandoned her last week. He cleaned out their bank account, too, of course. Not that there was much in it. She has a lot of health issues and is in a wheelchair. I'm trying to get her down to Georgia. It's difficult to coordinate from a distance. She is in Massachusetts. I'm out here. My dad and niece (her daughter) are in Georgia. None of us can fly there to do this, so I'm working with a Jewish Family Services agency in Boston (as if that poor city isn't crazy enough now). There are a bunch of side issues involved as well. It'll get done eventually, but she's anxious to get away and keeps calling or emailing me. I find myself snapping at her, being short with my niece & Dad, and then just feeling awful about it. It's a sad situation, but with G-d's help... you know. Anyway, I'm praying for you and that wild weather you're having. Good thing you know the emergency prep drill cold!

What's happening with 'Wog, Froggy? I hope she's feeling better. I'll check back tomorrow.
