Have a nice Friday, Pond People!

  1. Sorry for the slow start--we're watching about the bombing in Boston. Sissy was up a lot with her cough last night--and we're out of grilled cheese sandwiches. Da Wolf wants to be made over--he misses Sissy. I'll have to give him a mouse...

  2. Good Morning Froggy and Friends..
It's just one of those weeks. I'm still dragging around the house and sleeping a lot. Wolfie makes me get up every now and then for his most-important feeding.

  3. Good morning, especially Frog and Wog. Take it easy and continue to rest. For some reason this bad cough thing is hard to shake.

There is something that I have been doing recently for my own immunity. Manuka honey. I brought some with me for Val's family and it is really helping. Her cough is gone. This special honey has antibacterial qualities not found in regular honey. I have been using +5. It goes up to +16. I have seen the results so I am sold.

  4. What a gorgeous picture today!

So glad the weekend is starting. Maybe by Monday 'Wog will be almost all better. Just take these days to pamper yourself. We need both sisters running on all cylinders. Gloria's honey treatment sounds promising.

Wall-to-wall coverage out of Boston is fascinating. Going to be very interesting to see how all of this turns out.

    See everyone later.

  6. TGIF everyone. Frog and Wog, you are such deers. Keep on feeling better Wog. You both are in all our prayers every day.

Great tip about Manuka honey, Gloria. I'm going to Google and see where I can get some.

Eva, hope your family problems are getting resolved. Prayers for you, too!

I'm working tomorrow. Major upheaval in my company happened on Thursday. A woman who's been there 14 years got fired. She is a troubled soul and has tried to hold on to the control of everything she had 14 years ago. We are growing fast and she's tried to sabotage every new bright, professional management staff we've hired in the past year because they are now in charge of what she used to be in charge of. She has always treated people badly, but going after new managers brought it to an intolerable level.

Please say a prayer for Mary. She has deep emotional problems and is now in shock about being fired.

    1. Gosh, that's a very human tragedy. I've heard of that before in offices when big changes happen and it's so sad. I mean, my friends & I always gripe about how long it takes us to master new things now. Joe was saying recently that he was used to being 2 versions behind the latest technology, but that lately it's getting that he's behind by 4 or 5 versions. He asks his students (& remember, this is middle school) questions about how to do something. They all know. They are the future.

When I was having my hair done a couple of weeks ago, the woman in the next chair said she was a executive headhunter and that it's virtually impossible to place someone who is over 50 now.

It's a brand new world. Some people just can't deal with it. How sad that she came to this end after 14 years.
