    1. My jaw is sore, but we all put up with that with dental work. It'll pass off. How's our dear Gloria? Phoo, you seem like you're doing better--hope so!

  2. Triple digits in the valley of L.A. today and continuing into next week. Sounds like unseen powers are planning to keep me inside and packing boxes in air conditioned coolness. The cats really love this. They lie in their sun spots and the A/C keeps them from getting too hot. What a life!

  3. You do sound great, Phooey! So do you, Frog! Love to hear both of you sounding so great.

Sorry about the dental achies, Frog. I'll have them next month. Right now my left index finger hurts so bad. I stabbed myself with a staple puller right into the cuticle of my left index finger. It was a good-sized gash and started bleeding like crazy. At least my blood was bright red, so I'm getting enough oxygen. Right?

Eva, also triple digits here. I said a prayer of gratitude to God today, thanking Him for teaching us how to invent air conditioning.

Tomorrow is FRIDAY! Color me happy!

Please say a prayer for my immediate boss, Janice. She's taking tomorrow off to do things to help her better care for her mother who is deep into Alzheimer's.

  4. Hi Phooey, Eva, Surfie...
This is just my night time wrap-up. Sounds like everyone is sweltering in the heat. Make you wish for winter sometimes. Seattle are is not hot yet, but the humidity is up. We've been sweating all day. (Or is that "perspiring"?) I really think we were sweating!

Froggy's mouth is still sore, but better. She's resting. We are watching River Monsters on TV. Phooey and Surfie, I came home from a jaunt on the bus an found Froggy watching NCIS.

Surfie, of course, we'll send prayers to Janice. Alzheimer's is so difficult to deal with, especially if it's a loved one.

I'll check back later this evening for one last peek at The Pond.
