Sunday. Can this be true?

Are you ready for some football?
Today. Cowboys at Miami.

  1. Happy Sunday morning. Hope this morning finds you feeling better, Froggy. We all love you so very much!

Football already? Eva, hope your move doesn't interrupt your football season!

I have a prayer request for my friend Karen's husband, Brad. Brad was diagnosed with diabetes about a decade ago. He dropped 50 pounds and has been diligent in doing what he needs to do. Still, he has developed retinal disease. He starts eye injections tomorrow (I think they are steroid injections) to stop the destruction of his retinas and save his eyesight.

Brad is a dear, life-long friend. Please keep him in your prayers. Thank you, Deer Ponders!

    1. Oh, poor Brad. Prayers that his eyesight is saved. The idea of eye injections make me shrivel up, but the idea of losing my eyesight is far scarier.

  2. Deer Surfie,
We Ponders have enough Hugs and Love and Prayers for all of our Friends and Family. We are sending them to your close friend Brad. I am truly sorry to hear about Brad's diabetic complications. Let us know if there is anything else we can do.

    1. Good Sunday wishes to all.

Surfie, am sorry to hear of your friend Brad having problems with his eyes. I am in agreement with my other pond friends for brads healing. Karen's family has certainly had their share of trials.

  3. A while back I got a new laptop. In the process of changing over I lost some things that I wanted to save. Among the lost stuff was the contact info for my pond friends. Would it be possible to post those again? If anything were to happen to me I would want Scott to let my friends know.

I can start by posting my email and personal cell#. Any of you can feel free to contact me at any time.

    2. Thanks Gloria, I put your info in my address book. That's a real address book that I keep in my pocket. I will let Froggy know and she can send you an email.

I know about losing everything. Both Froggy and I have desktop computers. A couple months ago my computer locked up. I didn't know what to do . Froggy shut it off, then back on. And right away hit the F11 button. It worked. My goodness, that was scary.

Then last week Froggy's computer locked up and she had to hit F11. We still don't have everything back on her computer. Still need to install the printer from the disk that came with the printer.

You need to buy a couple thumb drives and save special stuff on them. I love 'em. So easy to use.

  4. Well, we will be dog-sitting again all next week. This time I'll take our computer with us so I can stay in contact if I'm able to connect to my daughter's network. Just have to wait and see.

  5. Football already? How could I have missed my beloved Dolphins starting off the pre-season? I guess I'm really full up with move-related stuff. I know my Georgia Bulldogs have their first game at the end of August. By then, I'll be totally crazy with the move only days away. I'll need football to take my mind off it.

    1. Hi Eva, glad you like football. You'll be able to go a couple Bulldog games if you're on the East Coast. How's Joe doing with the move? Do kitties suspect something's up?

    2. Hi, Eva. I guess the clock is ticking on your move. I know moving is stressfull but I am sure it will all work out. Both you and Joe will be closer to family.

Just noticed that your middle name is the same as mine. Jeanne. How odd, have never known a woman with the same spelling.

  6. Howdy,
We've been watching football, and then Law and Order. Thought I'd check back. I wrote down everyone's contact. It would be terrible if we lost each other.

My name is Linda, but when I am at The Pond, I am totally the 'WOG!

I have a cell, but don't turn it on except when I leave on a errand around town. I used to joke that the only time I used a cell phone was to call the AAA tow truck or to order pizza.
