  1. Good Monday Morning, Froggy Fans...
I'm up early to run some errands, and then take bus to see Froggy. She is getting a haircut today. Very exciting morning for her. It should be a treat that I am NOT hacking away at it. Looks like it's time for some Fall pictures on our morning post. Don't forget Monday Night Football. Also several new TV shows premiere this week.

Gotta run. I'll write when I get home this evening. Please post any political news or anything interesting. You help me keep up with the world.

  2. Hi gang. Hope Froggy gets a great haircut today. I don't know about ya'll, but getting a great haircut puts a little spring in my step.

Love today's picture. Did I tell you about my neighbors in Malibu and hummingbirds? They had a deck that ran the lenghth of one side of their house, lined with hummingbird feeders. They kept their front door open all the time, and those hummingbirds got to feel so at home they would fly inside and sit on the neighbors' shoulders. Pretty neat.

How are things going with the move Eva? Hope everything has arrived and you are getting on with settling in.

Have a great evening Pond Family!

    1. Surfie, how wonderful that your neighbors would put up so many feeders. I used to put up one feeder in San Diego. The hummingbirds always came! Such amazing little birds.

  3. Hummingbirds. Had them outside our condo in North Hollywood. I loved watching those itty-bitty, gorgeous creatures.

I've heard that the second part of our shipment may show up this week. I'm waiting for confirmation. At least that'll be done with then. In the meantime, we're going through identification hell. We tried to get our driver's licenses last week and were both told that our birth certificates were not in order. Joe's was a photocopy and mine came from the hospital and not an official state agency. Joe drove up to New York to his parent's house and got his original. I had to send away to Mississippi to get mine.

Since Joe got his, he went this morning to the DMV and that's when it got even stranger. The DMV said Joe already had a license and it had a violation on it. Joe has never had a NJ license and just what was this violation. By-the-way, the violation was from 1984 when Joe was living in L.A. They couldn't tell him what the violation was but it had never been resolved. They sent him to a regional office where he could get more info. After driving for an hour to get there and waiting 2 hours being sent from one person to the next, he still couldn't find out what the violation was and why it was attached to him name. One person said he'd never seen such a thing. Joe has to go back tomorrow and see the supervisor. It's weird. I'm going with him to help keep his blood pressure down.

I'm looking forward to watching Denver tonight. Seattle is proving that last years team was no one season wonder. They are for real! My Miami Dolphins are 3-0 so far, too. I haven't seen them play yet, but it's exciting.

    1. Eva, so sorry that your move is so difficult. You really did everything right to make it an easy move. What a disgraceful moving company! Let us know about Joe's driver's license woes. Doesn't seem possible that you could have so many problems.

Did you watch the Bronco-Raiders game? I can't keep watching the game when Froggy isn't here. I get sidetracked, and start cooking or cleaning.

  4. How's our little Family this evening? I'll write more as soon as Bronco football is over.

In the meantime, thought you might enjoy this YouTube called
"Cat doesn't respect Ping Pong Rules" Cats are such crazy, entertaining little animals!

  5. Somehow Blogger looks different. I belong to the group that says, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

I didn't realize my hummingbird picture would be so popular. They are truly such unique and fascinating little creatures. Just love 'em. I saw some near the trees by Froggy's care center.

Froggy got her hair shampooed and cut. Looks so much better than when I trim it. I work my new "job" tomorrow, but when I go again to see Froggy I am taking her some makeup to go with her new "do." She may be coming home after another week. It will be hard for her to leave so many new friends.
