Barack Obama has had one passion that has been consistent over the years: himself. His healthy self-regard is well-known by now. From the omnipresent posters of his jutting face to the spectacle of the Democratic National Convention with Styrofoam Greek columns to the disgraceful alteration of the official presidential seal during the 2008 campaign to his constant presence on our airwaves (Really, do we care about his sports commentary? Or his brackets in the NCAA tournaments?), we know that this is a man with a hunger for the spotlight.

OWS mess.
Surveillance video captured Occupy Wall Street demonstrators just before 8 p.m. on March 14 dragging large quantities of human urine and feces in containers to an open-air plaza at the corner of Nassau and Cedar Streets in Lower Manhattan, then pouring the waste down the stairs there. In a separate incident the same night, approximately 20 minutes later, one of the suspects entered a Chase ATM vestibule on Water Street and poured the human waste inside the vestibule.
Obama said: "You know, if I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon".
Yes, it was easy to make political hash out of Trayvon Martin--but I bet Mister President wouldn't be so quick to own any of these men. He just used Trayvon--and most people are too unmindful to know it.
As a mother, my capacity for empathy does not stop at only those who physically resemble my children. More

I am sure there are many Americans who have no idea nor care what “The Draft International Covenant on Environment and Development” (DICED) is. They should. Some call the Draft Covenant “Agenda 21 on steroids” while others see it as the “Environmental Constitution of global governance.”
The first version of the Covenant was presented to the United Nations in 1995 on the occasion of its 50th anniversary. It was hoped that it would become a negotiating document for a global treaty on environmental conservation and sustainable development.
The fourth version of the Covenant, issued on September 22, 2010, was written to control all development tied to the environment, “the highest form of law for all human activity.’
The Covenant’s 79 articles, described in great detail in 242 pages, take Sustainable Development principles described in Agenda 21 and transform them into global law, which supersedes all constitutions including the U.S. Constitution...

Iraqi Teenagers Stoned to Death for "Emo" Haircuts
A group of armed men dressed in civilian clothing led dozens of teenagers to secluded areas a few days ago, stoned them to death, and then disposed their bodies in garbage dumpsters across the capital, according to activists. The armed men are said to belong to “one of the most extremist religious groups” in Iraq. “First they throw concrete blocks at the boy's arms, then at his legs, then the final blow is to his head, and if he is not dead then, they start all over again,” one person who managed to escape told Al-Akhbar.
Iraq's moral police was granted approval by the Ministry of Education to enter Baghdad schools and pinpoint students with such appearances, according to the interior ministry's statement. The exact death toll remains unclear, but Hana al-Bayaty of Brussels Tribunal, an NGO dealing with Iraqi issues, said the current figure ranges "between 90 and 100." "What's most disturbing about this is that they're so young," she said. Al-Bayaty said the killings appear to have been carried out by extremist Shia militias in mostly poor Shia neighborhoods and said she suspected "there's complicity of the Ministry of Interior in the killings." Photos of the victims were released on Facebook, causing panic and fear among Iraqi students.
A young man with long hair expressed alarm at the government-ordained harassment of teenagers with Western appearances. “I have long hair but that doesn't mean I'm an Emo. I'm not less of a man if I have long hair. Let's not say that if I have long hair, I'm a homosexual, but I have long hair because this is my style, this is me," he told Iraq's Al-Sharqiya television network. Safiyyah al-Suhail, an MP, said on Thursday that "some students have been recently arrested because they were wearing American jeans or had Western haircuts." The interior ministry has not disclosed the number of teenage victims, but released a follow-up statement on Thursday warning extremists "not to step on public freedom of Iraqis."
News of the gruesome deaths drew a stern reaction from Iraq's prominent Shia cleric, Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, who criticized the stoning of the young men as "an act of terrorism. The Director of the Moral Police of the Interior Ministry released a statement, saying "The 'Emo phenomenon' or devil worshiping is being followed by the Moral Police who have the approval to eliminate [the phenomenon] as soon as possible since it's detrimentally affecting the society and becoming a danger."
'Emo' comes from the English word 'emotional' and the phenomenon is popular among teenagers not only in Iraq, but in most societies. They use their appearances and movements as a method to express their emotions and embody their will and their view of life in their behavior. Colonel Mushtaq Taleb al-Mahemdawi said: "The Emo Phenomenon was discovered a while back by members of our force in Baghdad. A report has been made and given to the Ministry of Interior to receive an approval to carry on with the investigation and to know how to eliminate the phenomenon."
He added: "The Ministry of Interior took this situation very seriously and received an approval from the Ministry of Education to set a plan under my full supervision and to allow us to enter schools in the capital." "There are some cases of the spread of this phenomenon specifically among schools in Baghdad, but we are facing great difficulty in the lack of women on the force who would allow us to carry the investigation more accurately since the phenomenon is more popular among girls between the ages of 14 and 18."

The first of the posthumous Breitbart tapes debuted last night on Hannity, and today on Breitbart.com. You can tell the left is concerned by the fact that:
1. Journ-O-lister Ben Smith, now running Buzzfeed, pre-empted the debut by licensing the same tape from WGBH TV in Boston, and running it, minus a couple of shots, and then rushed to dismiss its significance.
2. There has been a rush to conclude that this is much ado about nothing, despite the fact that many more tapes are in prospect.
The gist of the tapes is that in 1991, when he was president of the Harvard Law Review, 30 year old Obama spoke in front of a rally of his admiration for radical professor Derrick Bell, and hugged him in front of the crowd and said: "Open up your hearts and your minds to the words of Professor Derrick Bell."
Bell was the first tenured black professor at Harvard, and a constant activist for radical positions, demonizing whites. He demanded more hiring of black radicals on the law school faculty (the rally Obama spoke at was protesting a decision not to offer tenure to a black woman), and he eventually left Harvard Law School.
There is also a shocking tape of a lecture by prominent black Harvard Law professor Charles Ogletree, in which he boasted of covering up the tape in the 2008 election. "We hid this during the election," he said. It is unclear exactly who is included in "we" in this case. Could one Barack Obama be part of that group?
In fact, the footage had appeared in a PBS Frontline documentary, making no impact whatsoever upon the national conversation, a fact which the program's underwriters ought to ponder.
Breibart promised before his death to finally vet Obama. What the mainstream media will never admit is that the public persona of Obama they have collaborated in producing is a mere facade. We live in uneasy times, leading to skepticism about whether we are being told the truth. Certainly the public overwhelmingly distrusts the media.
The agenda inherited from Andrew is to reconstruct an image of Obama that makes sense to people better than the image of a basketball-loving guy with a great smile and sense of humor. The fact is that Obama has spent his adult life marinating in the sewage of race hatred and class envy spewed by the left, relentlessly.
There is more to come. The predicate has been laid.
Update: J. Christian Adams of PJ Media points to another tape showing black students occupying a Dean's office as part of the same effort to force tenure for a black professor who didn't earn it. One of the students seen occupying the office looks a lot like Michelle Obama. Adams writes that he has seen this tape on Betamax at higher resultion, and that there is little doubt Michelle is one of the occupiers.

The most surreal episode yet of Obama’s weird, contra-factual presidency recently occurred. First, he condescendingly blocked the 1.1 million barrel-a-day Keystone Canada-to-US pipeline, in the hallowed name of environmentalism. Then, following almost immediately, gas prices sky-rocketed. But, Barack managed to top even this logical perversity.
He then gave a speech, apropos of nothing, defying the notion that drilling (or pipelining!) could possibly lessen USA’s dependence on foreign petroleum. He tagged this notion a “bumper sticker,” i.e. a cliche representing a political hoax. Finally, he chortled at Republican’s silly belief in stateside petroleum development. He concluded by haranguing Americans on their naivete on how global energy works. Pardon the rhetorical nature of this question—But is the man mad as a hatter?
Obama stated in new Hampshire on the subject,
"Anybody who tells you that we can just drill our way out of this problem does not know what they’re talking about, or they’re not telling you the truth—one or the other…There is no silver bullet. It’s a a bumper sticker, not a strategy to solve our energy challenge. It’s the easiest thing in the world to make phony election-year promises about lower gas prices. Gasoline prices are on the rise and Republicans are licking their chops. That’s a quote."
The performance was vintage Obama. He stated incorrect “facts,” encompassing false claims, defying his brain-addled political base to attempt the heavy lifting of admitting 1 + 1 never equals 3. Unfortunately, Obama’s doctrinaire, play-loose-with-the-facts, dismissive style is increasingly obvious to spot. As American oil discoveries increase, production sky-rockets, while Global Warming is shown a hoax. Meanwhile, Europe proves (as if we needed to see again!) that socialism is failure incarnate. So Barack is fomenting for a system that isn’t simply highly deficient, but utterly clueless against the facts. So, Obama’s been outed as a quintessential Marx acolyte; but Marxism has no better replacement for modern democracies. This premise, Obama’s strange refusal to accept reality and let it help dictate policy, is the subject of this essay.

I am left with no other conclusion than that he deliberately wants our destruction. I know we all have the tendency, after 9/11, to think of Iran, Al Qaeda et al. as 'enemies'--but I think the worst one is right in our own White House.

We all know Obama likes to outsource work and does not believe as much in national sovereignty as he does in giving power over our actions to foreigners. This was the principle he followed when he sought permission from the Arab League to engage in actions to oust Libyan ruler Muammar Gaddafi. He never sought Congressional authority under the War Powers Act to go to war in Libya. There were excuses that this ignoring of Congress was due to time pressures -- the need to act quickly to save lives. But apparently this has now become the Obama Doctrine -- if one is believe testimony from both Chief of Staff General Martin Dempsey and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta.
