Sounds like a good day to stay in bed! I haven't caught up on all the news yet, but I gather the occupiers are on the march. That's just great. Nothing like pissing off the rest of the 99% trying to get to work. Do they honestly think this is making a difference in their lives? Yuck.
'Woggy runs into the OccuPodders downtown a couple blocks away--she says they just piss off everybody like her trying to go to work or do errands. Seattle uses every bit of it's downtown--it's all very vital and active. We don't have wide swaths of boarded-up or vacant buildings; we have 3 main colleges that feed close to downtown--and you know how prized Seattle is for it's Pike Market, waterfront, and public transportation. Heck, we can even hear the stadium if the Seahawks bother to win--it's that close. There's LOTS to rile and interfere with here and the people DON'T like it. Given the disgusting proggy nature of the politics here, though, everyone is fairly in sync, as usual..., and we haven't had much trouble, thank God...
